Hello.
I played roughly 300 hours as Titan, and as most solo questing activities are approaching their obvious depletion (or frustrating too much to bear, yes, Sleeping nodes, I'm looking at you;)), I've been thinking in starting new class.
But honestly, seeing other people playing Warlock and Hunter I'm not sure I'm fit to play any of them. Hunters seems to be requiring better reaction then I can provide, dashing around like playing on 1.25 speed, and Warlocks ... uhm, well, other than Rift buffs they are complete mystery to me;).
As I do not plan to participate in any PvP (I hope), and my co-op probably will be limited to strikes/Gambit, any advices you can share for newbie, to "extract" maximum enjoyment from playing them, and hinting which of these two classes should be first?
I picked Titan because it fits into my "goalie" mentality most and I've been enjoying these played hours to the fullest, even in most frustrating moments (minus PvP step for Ace of Spades, that was horrible).
While I've read some guides on classes, I haven't found authors whose words would "click" for me, but as local community always was the most helpful I ever met, I decided to ask here.
So, would you kindly lend a hand?:)
Thanks and take care.
I dunno where you from, but I never seen a goalie fat enough to cover entire net. Not football (or soccer, for our North Americans here), but hockey. Back when I was a kid, obesity wasn't as epidemic as it is now and I was quite a skeleton-like (one of reasons I was placed in net - goalies usually less boarded:D and some kids really, I mean REALLY loved smashing other, even at cost of penalty). I can't speak for not just other countries, but even cities, yet our trainers constantly cracked the whip, telling us we should be best skaters. With those old pads from 80s. I think my old gear (entire set, ad adult age) weighed about 25 kilos. Plus we had a lot of weightlifting. Never been doing that many squats even in army.
