As far as we know the only way an exo can be "born" is via conversion from a human being into one.
Does it stand to make sense then that all the exos that currently exist are all there will ever be?
Are exos finite in their capability to exist as a race if they are incapable of repreducing.
Or are they just immortal( in the sense that they dont age) machines of destruction?

As an exo, I really didn't need this today.

We're a dying breed. Without exo conversion chambers and the equipment there can't be any more exos. And since the Crypt is the way to make more I don't believe there should be any more. We exos were fooled into doing this. Any exo will tell you it was a stupid decision, doesn't mean good hasn't come out of it, but stupid all the same. And no exos do for eventually from "old age". Banshee-44 is the longest living know exo and he is way past his expiration date. Most would have died long before then.

There are probably still many exos that haven’t been raised. Or possibly more exo units on Enceladus.

An Exo will live until they get killed by an alien or too many resets. So unless we can start building new Exos or rebuilding old ones, yes, the Exos will eventually die off.
