I just had the same thing happen to me! I didn't change anything to do with Destiny 2, but I did have a memory editor in the background. I read through the Code of Conduct and license agreement, and considering that I didn't modify the game at all, I think that it shouldn't qualify for a ban? Let me know if I read the legalese wrong.

  • Memory editiors are code injectors. Those by far detect the same or similar to cheat engines and who is to say someone hasn't modified your 'memory editor' to attempt to cheat at Destiny. So therefore you had a program open that is against the EULA and got banned. Sorry, it is on the end user to know what is running on their computer. If you worked for a large company and connected your personal computer to their corporate network and your computer was massively infected, even if you didn't know it. You would be fired from that company due to the programs on your computer. This is a much lesser punishment.

  • Well I too was under the assumption that if i didn't touch the game but it was running, nothing would happen.... though look where we are now XD at least i'm getting the feel for how sensitive this games ban functionalities are, thanks for your insight.
