I am currently at +1900 glory and am so close to getting my Luna's Howl. I've never had connection issues. Through Destiny 1 and all of year 1 of Destiny 2.
For the passed couple weeks, I have been getting anteater and weasel errors while playing comp. When I get an anteater error, destiny tries to reconnect me to the game, which I then receive a bat error which removes me from the game, giving me the L. I would also get random weasel errors peppered in my session to really slow me down.
I receive anteater errors while I'm in quickplay/rumble but I am able to rejoin the game with my game stats reset. I also get anteater errors while in Tower!
I've tried hard restarting and power cycling my Xbox One, router and modem but the problem still persists.
I'm so close to getting Luna's but not only do I have to play against sweaty teams, but I also have to battle these errors. It's become really disheartening.
Please let me know if there's anything else you guys could recommend. I'm running out of time this season.
Please let me know.
Thanks,
LmntSouL

3 RepliesHi. Thanks for your report. ANTEATER and BAT are general networking errors, but WEASEL is more in-depth. If you are on a wireless connection, a wired connection is recommended to play Destiny. If your internet connection is being used for anything else besides playing the game, such as watching a movie or streaming, it's recommended to quit those programs. You may want to clear your console cache and check to see if that might help with your issue.
