I’ve noticed the use of telesto in comp the last couple of games.
Here is my OPINION.
While struggling to find a consistent team and stuck in the middle ground between sweat and casual. I’ve noticed telesto being used more to counter the shotgun use.
The teams i have lfg with have been complaining about the gun and most of the games that we lost was mainly from our tilt as a team.
I don’t think its overpowered but it’s for sure not a horrible gun.
In d1 it was timed based while in d2 it’s proximity based which i think makes the gun easier to use.
What I recommend is making the spread pattern larger when from a range. I have noticed that the spread pattern on telesto was fairly close together which resorts to people hiding behind cover pre charging and getting a kill from a distance away.
My pov is that the gun is fine where it is but make the spread pattern from a range much larger or they could go back to timed explosions so it’s high risk high reward type weapon.
