Tbh I think most of the team's who finished used the exploit.
Sure the extra levels are cheap but it's not like there was another team that came close but didn't exploit, nor was the problem for non-exploit teams health/damage but rather the mechanics.
Imo, releasing the raid 2 weeks after launch was the mistake, there are 580 encounters that only the players who play d2 as a job or don't have anything else to do could beat over, when you cut out 99% of the base you make the world's first more about which streamer can take the prize instead of the possibility of anyone.

some streamers did not exploit and went in under leveled below 550 who never promoted exploits and it showed by getting one shotted...so to each his own
-
And none of them have beaten raid yet right? So they never stood a chance with or without exploits

Edited by Cashjr23: 9/16/2018 4:37:29 PMit did not help that's for sure...Unknownplayer was 539 and I think Datto was 544...both these guys play fair...I think 560+ is real for this raid

I watched datto, he failed to compete with redeem and slayerage not due to light level giving him weaker damage or taking more - but by failing mechanics repeatedly, even if he was 550 like redeem it wouldn't have made a difference, datto loses world first due to his team wiping at mechanic based things most often, remember he was first to the encounter right before callus for worlds first too and his teams failure to lockdown the mechanics there let other teams pass him and win
-
oh my bad, lower light does not contribute to a disadvantage
-
No, lower light is not the reason datto came 3rd
-
I stated it contributed to it he was 15 points lower than the winners
-
And if you rewatch his run he was wiping not due to lack of damage or getting killed by adds but by the mechanics themselves. You want to to pretend he would have gotten worlds first if he was the same light as redeem? Believe what you want but the fact is he was wiping to things that make no difference to how high light you are. Datto simply isn't as strong a pve-er as the members of redeem, whatever you want to look at from thier WOTM runs to Levithan to Last wish the common denominator is datto loses time because of the game mechanics...and not dying to adds/not having enough damage which light would change. Basically redeem would have won regardless of if everyone exploited or not. Because at the end of the day it was the mechanics that held up the other streamers. NOT LIGHT LEVELS. And fyi I was hoping redeem would lose, not win, I wanted slayerage to take the crown, but he took forever at combination room and lost due to, again, mechanics

I never said nor pretended anything, I stated that not all streamers exploit and Datto and UP obviously do not because their light level reflected that and the winners were 12 - 20 light levels above them...you are making up scenarios for what reason I don't know

So unless you were just trying to tell me datto didn't glitch when I already knew that or are actually trying to argue idk what else you could possibly be doing replying to me....
