I get sick when I have to move around. Can't do shooters or anything like that. Super weird though, I learned how to Cobra on this one flight sim... didn't feel nauseous... ever. Spinning out of control to my death definitely created an odd sensation at first though. Hard to describe. I think it might have to do with the perception of movement while the body remains still.

It is, your body takes balance ques from your eyes and ears. You ears detect any acceleration or change in movement and your eyes justify it. For some who are accustomed to them working in sync, slapping on a VR headset can be disorientating because the eyes are getting their ques! but the body and ears aren't detecting anything, thus making you sick. It's not a big issue tho, getting used to it is called getting your VR legs! https://www.quora.com/What-are-VR-legs Pilots are specifically trained not to rely on there sensations but rather there eyes and instruments instead

  • Huh... Weird. Cool that my assumption was correct. But weird. Think I'm gonna stick to racers and dogfighting tho. Just where I'm comfortable lol
