Why didnt we get a raid? I know we got the mini raid (EoW), but its just a sidenote to Leviathan.
Im thinking back to D1 when TDB dropped and how terrifying and exotic Crota's raid was.
When comparing that to the Finite Forest and its ironically small, sparrow hating planet, i cant help feel cheated. I wouldnt buy it twice.
Edit: I understand Crota wasn't the greatest thing from destiny 1, i wasnt saying that.
I was only using his Dlc as a comparison to The Curse of old guy because they're both the first to each respective game

1 ReplyI didn't buy it and the only thing I would've wanted if I still played is the Ophidian Aspects - a D1 exotic
-
3 RepliesWe did warn people to not buy this dlc but you know , an idiot remain an idiot regardless. Let's see if they will listen us about not buy dlc 2 😂
-
Here is what we got. No sarcasm intended An infinite forest only accessible during two strikes and adventures 11 forge weapons with a couple standout but none are meta (they should have been) An Osiris DLC that disclosed zero information about Osiris. In fact if you look close enough it's the exact same sending to Destiny 1... Not sure why I didn't realise that earlier A new planet that's so small that they removed your ability to use a sparrow to make it bigger. Mercury is vast planet. Really and have been bigger New exotics. Level cap increase Btw Crucible map and exclusive map for PS4. Don't think there was anything else specific to the DLC. Rest were season related like eververse.

1 Replyhours of entertainment from watching the salt fly around these forums LOL

5 RepliesWait.... You feel cheated after the curse of osiris dlc.... But not cheated from the dark below? The dlc that literally had us running the exact same missions in -blam!-in reverse?
😂😂😂😂😂
-
Not all dlc's in the past had a raid They were forced to do crota and good lord was that snabu bad it took months to fix it Then they went to dlc with content only But coo was weak at best I would be surprised if the next dlc is any better
-
2 RepliesAs others have said, disappointment is what we got. Kinda said, considering other games like Borderlands 2 exist. Curse of Osiris had 2 strikes, reused from the short campaign, a Forge that was neat, but lasted only a few weeks of grinding, and a disappointing story that didn't reveal anything about anyone... for $20 bucks. Take any expansion from BL2, its $10 separately, lasted hours upon hours, introduced new weapons and rarities, new gear, tons of new characters, continued to build upon the BL2 storyline, and came with free cosmetics for every character... On that note, for less money, you could get 4 of these expansions, plus other goodies. Its safe to say Bungo thinks a lil' too highly of themselves.
-
1 ReplyBecause people complained they didn't have enough time to do raids, and after the new DLC, everyone complained old raids were irrelevant.

39 RepliesEdited by Odin: 3/11/2018 5:21:36 PMYou know what, all these gamers on here giving their opinion on why this or why that, but how many of them actually know the truth on what has happen to this mess that is the reason there is no raid or things that should have been added already in this game? Yeah, a hell of a lot of you people that defend this game and company Never do your research at ALL. Or just try to ignore the facts so you don't have to face reality. And that is, Bungie is so damn far behind this game that they can't keep up with what actually needs to be done. Just like D1 story but the entire D2 was scrapped and chopped up, let's say this again so it sinks in your head people. (Bungie scrapped D2) This mean they started over and left themselves only 16 months to push out this mess. I don't give a flying hoot what anyone of you say. 16 months is not enough time for any company in this entire world to put out a game that needs the much needed attention as a game like this that has Bungie broken 2001 system. https://youtu.be/oZXABh6M8BA From what has been going around that (Bungie has not denied) they are still using the broken 2001 system. What has been said about it. It takes 8 freaking hours just to get certain info out of it. That means Majorly slowing production down. So all this Hog Wash that Bungie said about "how they created a better system" to put out more content or updates on a regular basis and blah blah blah was nothing but a lie. The have not done any better at all when you look at D1 and the updates that took 7 freaking months to get. They pulled the same crap as D1, offering petty things that does nothing for this game at all. Then there is Luke. The biggest mistake this company has ever made in this games history. Made him lead. Who the hell in their right mind would make someone a lead that had NO experience at all being a lead and above all, make him lead to one of the top games out and have him lead a sequel. Are you insane Bungie. To make matters worse they had a whole new team that didn't have a feel for the game create this sequel. WTH is wrong with this company. Who does this? The game is a mess because of Bungie and it's only Bungie's doing and that is a fact. Activision had Nothing to do with their stupid decisions even though they are one greedy company that doesn't give a flying hoot about anything but themselves. This new Bungie has done nothing but destroy what (the real talent did that created Destiny) that don't work for this company anymore. Then there is Josh. OMG! That man should of been demoted years ago. Who the hell is helping him to keep his position? Man there is some nasty kissing going on, because any self respecting company that gives a flying hoot about their game and the player base. He would of been gone years ago and Luke would still be just stuck on working on raids and nothing else. This entire company needs a major overhaul and for the sake of whoever. Get some damn real talent. People that know WTH they are doing back into this company.

1 ReplyDisappointment son that's what we got
-
We finally got the content that was cut from D1. Dlc 2 also. On the plus side, at least charlamagne will finally be in the game 😁
-
Emblems.... Many many Emblems......
-
9 RepliesWe got a whole new explorable area which we did not get in the dark below. Every story mission was based on earth and the moon. New pvp maps, new strikes and gear.
-
3 RepliesI loved Crota personally, was short and had it's glitches but was fun as hell.
-
You got 2 story missions that were re-skinned as strikes. You got 3 story missions that were re-skinned as heroic adventures On a more positive note: You did get the weapons forge grind, that was nice while it lasted. But I couldn't help but feel cheated, one would think a weapons forge could "forge" more than 11 weapons, or at least be used to re-tool existing ones. It does go well with how infinite forest was treated, so much potential, but execution was just disappointing to the level where one would consider it lazy and rushed out.
-
7 RepliesEoW raid lair takes around 30-45 minutes to complete. Crota raid took around 30 minutes to complete. So both the first DLC's for D1 and D2 offer the same amount of content except there was actually more story missions in CoO. So want to rethink your argument?
-
1 ReplyPretty underwhelming imo.
-
1 ReplyThe only thing you got with the DLC was shit
-
1 ReplyEdited by A Broken Record: 3/13/2018 8:08:57 PMYou were cheated dude. This dlc was nothing more than a scam. They claim there is 2 new strikes, but these were missions we played during the campaign. Oh wow you get a mini raid big whoop, but wasn't there supposed to be new vendor weapons like in every dlc just like in D1? Nope, everything looks the same. Mercury was a joke. Only 1 new public event hah. One of the worst dlc of all time.
-
5 RepliesEdited by ScotchEggsRules: 3/11/2018 8:00:55 PMYoure joking right? Most here did nothing but whinge about Crotas End. The tears were pathetic. Your comparison is too. Comparing a raid to the infinite forest? Seriously, why not just compare like for like...I know why, it doesn't support your argument.
-
4 RepliesThere’s no raid next paid dlc either, lol. They’re done. I’m pretty sure the raid we got was left over from 1. I’m too lazy to find it but it’s in a Shrier Kotaku piece, the evidence.

64 RepliesEdited by ferial56: 3/11/2018 2:51:40 PMDark Below: - Replaced all vendor weapons and armour - Added Eris Morn as a Vendor along with some class items - Released an awesome, but utterly broken raid - 3 story missions - 1 strike - A new world event, and multiple Hive "bosses" on Earth - URZOK THE OVERLY SHIELDED - Made Vanilla gear obselete compared to the new gear, while raising the power cap by 2 levels - new exotics - Added in 1 quest The Curse of Osiris: - A small, but new area, with a pretty good new public event (with crappy rewards) - A mini raid with one of the best boss encounters in the franchise, but a bad 1st encounter - Multiple new ornaments for armour sets - 3 new armour sets per class, 1 locked behind a paywall/slot machine - Added multiple weapons for vendors, including IB, Faction Rallies, and Trials - 2 new strikes - 5 missions - Raised the power cap by 30, without making any gear obselete - 50+ cosmetic items, BUT almost all locked behind a paywall/slot machine - 3 new but pointless adventures - Multiple new/returning exotics - added in Brother Vance...the fanboy...as a vendor, along with his lost prophecy weapons - Added in 1 new quest CoO was released at an awful time, where Destiny 2 had MAJOR issues regarding the endgame. It didn't help, but was a pretty decent DLC in terms of content. Unfortunately, that content wasn't that replayable. Raid with the exception. TDB was released at a time where DLC could fix the game, but it only made issues for the game worse, such as making all non-DLC gear but exotics obselete. CoO was an objectively better DLC than TDB, but did not solve nor try to fix the issues of D2 except for the grind, which they did poorly. TDB introduced even more currencies, made gear obselete, and while the raid was easily the best addition and pretty much saved the DLC, it was broken. Granted, that broken raid created many awesome challenges and moments, so that can be forgiven I think. Overall, I smell the EXACT same pattern for D2. The only difference and problem is that nobody wants to wait around SECOND time. BUT I WILL AGAIN BAYBEEEE
-
Dude, the dark below dlc was the worst dlc ever created in gaming. The raid was ok, but very short and buggy. The dlc as a whole was shocking. Osiris dlc has quite a lot of stuff to do, but other factors in D2 (no real endgame, light level not having an importance etc) makes it just a little boring and worthless. I would love to get all the forge guns, but nothing drives me to do it. In D1, I’d go out on patrol across the planets for a few hours at a time, farming materials etc. But in D2, the token system and dumb down system makes it all a bit boring.

1 Replywhat we got with the curse of osiris was knowledge and that knowledge was bungie is like a condom spends most of it's time in your wallet and only come's out to F you in the A
