Why aren't there any remnants of Precursor technology around the galaxy? Such as the Star Roads?

  • Precursor technology functions through the esoteric sciences of neural physics. This renders them indestructible to conventional weapons, however the Forerunners discovered that weapons that target the very foundation of neural pathways could damage and disrupt neural physics. Halo was a weapon capable of this feat. When the IsoDidact activated Halo, the firing was done at a time calculated to catch as many star roads outside of slipspace as possible, as Halo's effects in slipspace were largely unknown.
