YouTuber Mathematically Solves Exactly How Much *TIME AND/OR MONEY* To "Max Out" Eververse

EDIT : After re-watching the video, I noticed that he actually ROUNDED DOWN on his estimates to further exaggerate how bad Eververse was. The numbers featured are actually LOWER than they should be. Seeing how high they already are, that's pretty -blam!-ing insane that in reality they are bigger. _ _ _ _ _ video is worth the watch Quick Maths : Dawning Event Max Out : 116,250 Bright Dust OR 155$ (best case scenario, you get everything you need, every single time, 100% Luck Stat) 5284$ (worst case scenario, you get duplicates and have to salvage for dust) #removeeververse

  • Heres the thing about microtransactions, it has no place for a AAA game, unless it is fair, meaning its optional to buy with real money. Overwatch is a perfect example of this. The lootboxes are 100% guaranteed to players who level up, and the level up is always at 20000 xp, about 3 games. So, play the game you have a chance to get cool items. All new characters and maps are 100% free. So just because you dont spend you money, you are able to have just as much of a chance to get uo into the ranks as anyone else. For destiny 2, its a big bag of shit. Its a looter shooter, meaning by playing the game, and doing certain things, you get what you want. That is completely non existent in D2. Players are not rewarded for anything. No weapons for raids, no cool ass guns and armor for strikes. Its gone, a complete 180 from D1. All cosmetics are behind an rng based system, a system they were caught lying to you about. Theoretically, you could get all items by playing, but as you level up, its increasingly harder to get these bright engrams and not only that, youre getting less xp than what you think you are. Its a shitty way to treat your player base. A way for them to sneakily nudge you to spend your money. A game like destiny shouldnt have microtransactions period. And dlc shouldnt be put behind a paywall loot system. Items should be put into the game to better the endgame content and give incentive for players to do these harder activities and such. That being said, should tess go away? Yes, but she wont go away. Although i hate microtransactions, activision is notorious for shitty and borderline criminal practices. Theyre just as bad as EA. So if tess stays as she is, the game will die. Overpriced dlc, all content locked behind a paywall, and no endgame. Trust me, the lack of player base will speak for itself. So since tess wont go away, they will probably just revamp her, which if done right i would be "ok" with. For starters, make silver obtainable in game. Get rid of a rng only system. Players should be able to get what they want if they grind enough. Get rid of brightdust completely, so duplicates you get can be dismantled for silver. Do not randomize what is being sold every week. Something along these lines. Although even if they did do something more fair, it wont mean much if theres no content in the game in the first place. So yea, they dug themselves a shithole.
