I knew D2 was crapp since it's beta. I only play D2 when friends need a "6th". Want to know why people like me still play D1? Take a look at the director in D2. Pick a planet, any planet, and open up it's map. Notice the amount of available missions, strikes, and activities you see. Now look at a map of any planet in D1.

Just had I thought... I think the reason D2 campaign was so bland was because there was literally no difficulty to it anywhere, no pressure from enemies, like I said before no drama. I think I died less than 5 time throughout the entire story. It wouldn’t know what adrenaline was if you started bottling it and selling it at Eververse!

YES! Spot on mate! D2 is lacking in every single department not just super cool downs, pvp and weapon perks. You can’t replay the story missions (not that D2 campaign had any attraction to it anyway) there are no strikes that you can CHOOSE to run, and there’s not even an intro to strikes anymore what’s that all about? You just land somewhere and kill stuff. Light level makes no difference whatsoever, the ghost hardly says anything and there’s just no excitement or drama anywhere. We haven’t even got Sparrow horns anymore ffs!! At least D1 had ambiance... and Thrall still make you jump! lol, and Omnigals scream still sends shivers down my spine! D2 may as well have a “Ages 10yrs & Below” toy sticker on it!
