  • Wrong, there's plenty of bugs to die to: - Randomly pulled into the abyss from the sides. - Barriers not stopping you when they spawn. - Forehead symbol not spawning, causing a wipe. - Projection not taking damage. And that's just what I experienced.

  • Sounds to me like someone in the party has a laggy connection. Kings Fall used to break horribly in the presence of laggers, most of these bugs sound like they're rooted in desync. The lag, if indeed that is the issue, could easily be caused by the sheer distances your fireteam is connecting from, assuming you are American. This is pretty much why, whilst I enjoy mechanics-heavy encounters, I feel its a tricky path for Bungie. The more mechanics there are, the more scope there is for intensely annoying bugs to rear their heads. I like this raid overall, I really do. Baths and Gauntlet are great fun. But I would like to see some more "Old Skool" boss fight raid design. It works so well, and feels a little more rewarding when you take em down.

  • I do remember a few dc's earlier in our raid. We did manage to beat Calus, but it took 6 hours until everything worked correctly for 2 whole cycles.

  • Yeah, see, I havent seen any desynced Psions yet at all. No barrier issues either. My team is all UK, bar one who lives in Norway. So we're all pretty close to each other geographically. If we were dotted around a landmass like the US...well... Still, its up to Bungie to either optimise that, or have them unable to use their launch attack for a short period to counter any potential desync. I can fully appreciate how frustrating that must be.

  • It's not lag. I have a VERY good internet connection that functions 100% when I raid. And I get these bugs too.

More to the point, even if [i]you[/i] are fine, it only takes one person who isnt to drag the entire lobby down.

  • I can usually connect to American folk just fine. Oryx used to stutter a little, but that was it. However, this Alaskan dude I encountered...oof. He made Golgoroth sperg out repeatedly; light pool disappeared, orbs multiplied and floated in place for ages then BOOM I'm dead. Kicked him, orbit, new player, cushty. Beat him next go. Was unlucky enough to have him brought in at Oryx on another occasion. 5 times in a row, the runner couldnt collect the spark. Did all jumps pefectly, stood there teabagging the -blam!-ing thing - nothing. Kick, replace, everything magically worked again. Like I said, its not you. Its probably not any person in particular, just enough long distances to cause minor desync. Any other raid, that would probably be unnoticeable. With aggressive catapulting psions? Yeah, you might notice it there 😅

  • It was -blam!-ing infuriating, and the guy was commander in chief of the douche brigade too. One of [i]very[/i] few times I've exercised my Boot as fireteam leader...

    I have experienced 0 of those. Unlike most people I take responsibility for my -blam!- ups instead of making things up. If you as a person doesn't -blam!- up, you beat the raid. Pretty simple. However adding a chest piece eliminating any difficulty in the dimension is ridiculous
