Hello, Thank you for your report. At this time, we are aware that this error will appear primarily when players attempt to redeem codes using INTERNET EXPLORER, which is no longer supported by Bungie.net. Please attempt to redeem your code on an alternate web browser. If you continue to experience this issue, please reply to this post with the following:
• Which web browser are you currently attempting to redeem your code on? • What credentials are you attempting to use when logging in to Bungie.net and redeem codes? • Are you attempting to redeem codes for the matching credential, or have you signed in with an alternate credential? (Ex, Signed in with PlayStation Credentials, attempting to redeem code for Xbox)
Thank you.

Xbox Live - Microsoft credentials • Are you attempting to redeem codes for the matching credential, or have you signed in with an alternate credential? Yes; I only have one linked account with Xbox Live

  • Same issue through Safari on an iPad and through the Destiny 2 Companion App. Used both of them recently and got the drop down to select PSN platform. Now that is replaced by this error message and no ability to select platform for redemption.

  • I too am having these issues since the maintenance. Tried on my android phone, tried with Google Chrome and IE. I've signed info as myself for my PSN which according to my bungie.net account is linked.

  • Same issue. Code is redeemed, and listed in my history. But it does not appear to get credited to my characters with the same error others are receiving. (No linked account)

  • Tried Chrome on desktop and phone. Firefox. IE. Edge. My Microsoft credentials, the only ones I have. Your third question is the problem we're all having. We're not prompted to select a platform to redeem. We just click redeem and it gives us the error. I've only ever logged in with my xbox login.

  • Happening on ALL browsers. This issue and the whole collaboration with Kellogg's has been an absolute nightmare. By the time it's fixed I won't need the XP boost.

  • Did you read the problem is across all Browsers your answer about using IE is garbage. If I gave this kind of customer support I would be fired. Read the problem before snapping back with an answer that does not address the problem. THIS IS HAPPENING ACROSS ALL BROWSERS!!!! so don't give me the we don't support IE. I don't use IE. I have tried this in CHROME, FIREFOX, then IE and EDGE then installed dolphin on my phone and tried that. Still no go. Your programmer jacked up the box where we select the platform.

Across the board. I redeemed 6 codes no problem and now one poptart and one rockstar code won't work. However, my RED Sparrow went in no problem. Tried Safari, Chrome, and Firefox.

I have tried, Chrome, Firefox, Edge and the bungie app on android, all of them are getting the same error • What credentials are you attempting to use when logging in to Bungie.net and redeem codes? I am using my bungie acccount credentials, it says I am logged in, I can give you the credentials if needed I do not want to post them in here • Are you attempting to redeem codes for the matching credential, or have you signed in with an alternate credential? I am trying to redeem the code using my Xbox sign in *I was able to redeem 2 of them the other day using Chrome but it is no longer working for me, can provide screen shots or credentials if needed (Ex, Signed in with PlayStation Credentials, attempting to redeem code for Xbox)

  • I'm having the same issue. I've been using my other codes just fine until today. I've tried using Chrome and Firefox. I'm trying to redeem for Xbox, which is the only linked account I have. Not sure why this is occurring all of a sudden, when I've already redeemed the same type of code (XP boost from Pop-tarts) several times. I ordered a Bungie pin/emblem that should be arriving today as well, and I'm worried that when I try to redeem the code it's not going to work. Thanks
