Hunter
Cloak of Dredgen Yor
Credit to Jeuscifer

If one man could stand against the night, then so too could everyone...
That's a rough quote from Thorn fragment 1. It's when Dregden Yor succumbs to his darker side.
This leads me to believe that Dregden Yor is most likely a Hunter. The flavor of Thorn 2 is definitely that of a Hunter.

He's most likely a Hunter that shouldn't have went to the Moon. It seems to change guardians.
Warlock
Cloak of Dredgen Yor.
Why wouldn't it say Dredgen Yor's Cloak?
Ghost Fragment Thorn depicts a Warlock clearly
Warlocks such as Osiris and Toland BOTH sought out the Hive magics. This is necessary for a Weapon of Sorrow, such as Thorn, to exist. It is a guardian weapon Rose that was corrupted by Hive magics to become Thorn.
Toland and Osiris only survived the influence of the Hive because they were sound of mind. Dredgen was slowly corrupting himself with the self doubt he felt by the pressure of being that beacon of hope
also dont forget that Warlocks actually used to wear Cloaks! That is mentioned in the grimoire.*
.
To everyone saying "he ruled the crucible" that's absolute horrendous logic. Thalor a titan ruled, and Ikora a warlock was very well known as well. Just because there's this preconceived notion that hunters are better in crucible doesn't make that true. Hunters are "lone wolf" builds. They benefit the Hunter and no one else, that's why they seem more powerful.
*that negates the theory that it is Dredgen in the Grimoire though
