People act like the slower ttk in destiny 2 is the only reason people are working as a team.
No, if there is a clan of people they are gonna work as a team 9 times out of 10.

More importantly, it was possible to still have fun as a solo player against a team of randoms. Now that's 1v1s are dead, that's not possible anymore

1v1's aren't at all dead, just that 2v1's feel more like they should, where you need to think about what you do next.

Edited by vitisku1: 8/10/2017 11:58:34 AMI gotta disagree. In my experience with the beta, ttk being that much higher, what starts as a 1v1 can turn into a 2v1 very regularly. When D2 releases and people gain more map knowledge and get used to the 4v4 system and higher ttk that problem is going to be compounded even more. Even when something remains a 1v1, the victors survivability on the new map size is seriously retarded for his next engagement. I know people tested recovery times between D1 and D2 beta and they weren't considerably different, it still makes a different. I personally found that any 1v1 I won, I'd quickly run into one or more enemies before I was back to full health and was quickly killed. So I honestly believe that not only are 1v1s dead, the gameplay is actively discouraging you from attempting them. Also, my original point was about a team of randoms being able to best a fireteam of 4 as long as their gun skill was good enough. Trading points doesn't help your team win. Completely the opposite now actually, if I kill one guy, then get killed by two guys before my health recovers, they get point for 3 kills while I get points for 1, even though only one guy actually killed me
