No.
To be honest, after witnessing 343 Industries attempts to expand the Halo Universe, I'd say that this franchise has pretty much run its course.
The Masterchief storyline should have ended with Halo 3. I play Halo 4 and 5 and I see that we are still fighting the Covenant and o can't help but wonder "WHY". And the Forerunner storyline is awful.
I enjoyed ODST and Reach but these 2 games get a lot of hate from the fanboys because they don't Star The Masterchief.
So yeah, this franchise has been pretty much been milked to death. The only stories worth telling in the Halo Universe are stories that the fans don't want to see/hear.

Edited by kellygreen45: 7/14/2017 1:13:54 PMThe Forerunner storyline is actually very interesting. The problem is that if you don't read the Halo NOVELS, you don't have the backstory necessary to really understand why the Warrior-Servants HATE us so much.....and would rather BURN DOWN the Forerunner legacy than see Humans reclaim it....and claim The Mantle. You don't have it because every Halo campaign is written as if you've read the Halo novels that were published during the interim between that game and the previous Halo game. ...and its just doesn't work well. It took THREE BOOKS to set up the story that became the Halo 4 campaign....and you can make a case that it actually took FIVE books. The irony is that I read the books, and don't play the games. So the campaigns make perfect sense to me. But I can FULLY understand who someone who doesn't read the books, and only plays the games would be like "WTF?!?!?!"
