Bungie made a great trip of games but overall they've done their part. Halo currently isn't in as bad a state as many would think, we need to let 343 do what they think is best for this new direction Halo is headed in.

Agreed. One of the biggest problems I see in the Halo community (from the outside looking in) is that so many players want to just SMOTHER the game by demanding that it NEVER change. I mean, when I check out YouTube videos and see content creators having passionate arguments about SPRINT (ffs), I just face-palm and shake my head. If you don't allow a game to change and grow over time, you just wind up killing it.

I believe the reasoning behind that is the fans don't ant Halo to get too similar to other FPS games. Franchises like Call of Duty and Battlefield have a lot of systems that Halo has started adapting as of late (such as Sprint, Aiming with sights, etcetera) but they would rather Halo doesn't change. But the innovations that get added to the series are the only thing that is keeping it alive, with the exception of the story.

Exactly. It has to change to remain relevant and commercially viable.

I'm ecstatic when they said H6 and all onwards will have splitscreen. They're learning from their mistakes.
