Well, they dodged the PvP question. If they don't have PvP, the game may die out quick. On the other hand, without PvP the game will need a large amount of PvE content to be successful.
Personally, I want the PvP to be similar to how it's done in a mobile game called Unison League. You make a guild, pick a schedule, and the game matches you with other guilds for 3 fights a day at times depending on your schedule. The game is heavily PvE based, but the PvP is there, it's fun, and mostly* balanced.
[spoiler]Archers final subclass, the sniper, is a tad OP. They were really shafted with their first 3 subclasses, so it's kinda fair, but now every S and A rank match is just 5v5 snipers duking it out.[/spoiler]

Bioware games are very very story based. Unless you can think of a very valid reason and method to making pvp be realistic in their world it wont show up. And that is why anthem will be a success.
