Here's a good example of people ruining their own fun:
1st graders in classroom A get to eat ice cream instead of doing classwork for an hour. They get all the toppings they want, and as much ice cream as they can eat in that hour.
Classroom B is full of first graders who each get one scoop of ice cream, and while the teacher reads the lesson, they get to eat that one scoop of ice cream, the lesson takes 20 minutes, so they have to finish in that time and then start back on their work.
The kids in classroom B are super happy to have ice cream during the lesson. They are in a great mood... until they get out of school and hear what classroom A got.
All of the sudden, classroom B is crying that it's not fair that classroom A got a better time than them and they feel ripped off.
So I applaud thebattitide of enjoying what you have, because your life, and your outlook is what you make of it.

Expanding on that, classroom A ends up fat and on PS, classroom B gets a job and a Scorpio.

That example is inflated and biased. I have both, PS4 is clearly better, but the real analogy is eating ice cream with 10 pieces of cookie dough vs 11 pieces of cookie dough.
-
I'm not trying to compare my example to the PS4 vs. XBox1 situation, but rather as a general outlook. You can have the classroom B experience and be perfectly happy, or you can have the B experience, compare your experience to others, and be unhappy. It's more about being happy with who you are instead of comparing yourself to others versus a console comparison.

I've had both and feel the opposite. Point is your anecdotal evidence is worth jack shit.
