I'll probably get flak for this but i'm actually pretty pissed off. The way they are handling this DLC is so shitty. They are repackaging it as a new game. 40$ USD for the upgrade. or 60$ to get the base game+ morrowind. 40$ is the same as purchasing 2 of the 4 prior dlcs. You can spend 60$ to buy the base game+ all the dlcs (excluding morrowind) for 60$ the gold edition. You also can't buy it with crowns. and you don't get access to it from having ESO plus. Oh and none of the more expensive editions that come with this new expansion come with any of the past expansions. just random digital and physical junk. I imagine if someone already owns all the dlcs plunking down 40$ probably isn't much. But coming from a guy who only has the base game I don't see how this is enticing in the slightest to me. And I don't see how the way it's set up encourages new players to join in either. I wanted to hop back in especially since I heard they were adding in a new class. But -blam!- this. There is other games I want coming out around the same time. if i'm going to basically be spending enough money to net me a full new game I might as well.

  • For the most part I completely agree...You'll get no hate from me man... I also figured it would be the eso gold version exp with the collectors edition but not so much... On the plus side I'm sure the gold version or dlc will get big price drops before Morrowind comes out... The only reason I'm not more annoyed about it because I know it will be worth it, the new class sounds really good, the land mass is going to be just as big as in TES 3 and there isn't any other games I want... But I fully understand why people are annoyed...

  • I was just looking for a deal to get all the dlc without spending a lot. as I really would like to come back and perhaps even start over from the beginning since I struggle with my current. but it seems like if I want all the dlc the best route would be to rebuy the game with gold edition and then the expansion which is 120$ Plus tax. I won't have that money really any time soon. maybe even this year. Taxes is going to cover a lot of shit for me this year i'll be lucky if I can even get MEA from it.

  • For real man I'd suggest just getting Morrowind and get the other dlcs slowly over time the other dlcs are good but not needed...Also if you get ESO plus you get 1500 crowns each month after a few months you can buy all the other dlcs and won't need to spend so much all at once...

  • How much is ESO plus again? cause if I remember each dlc is like 2000 crowns. i'd need about 6 months of eso plus in order to just flat out buy all of the dlc if I didn't spend my crowns on anything else.
