What a crock

She's Savathun..... or at least one of her agents She's obsessed with destroying Oryx not just killing him but totally dismantling his power structure starting with Crota's agents (omnigul, hand, heart, etc) then Crota and his death singer( which can easily be explained away by Eris having a grudge against Crota for killing her fire team but bear with me). Followed by Oryx' war priest, golgoroth, his daughters and then Oryx himself. Savathun is a master of trickery and cunning and what is more cunning than getting your enemies to do your bidding without anyone knowing? Following the sword logic if oryx falls to the guardians then he isn't worthy of seeing the final shape, Savathun proves her own worth as well by gaining the knowledge of killing oryx and his worm (which is where the real knowledge comes from because they've killed each other countless times) Now Eris surviving the dark without any help is really what's in question here. Think about her teleportation powers and her ability to sense when the hive are near. How does she do that? Is it because she gained some ODD power by being steeped in the dark? OR can her worm sense other worms approaching? Assuming she is Savathun but if she's just an agent would she be able to sense other worms because she is tithed to her master? Personally I think it would be amazing if it turns out you've been doing the bidding of a minion of darkness this whole time, at least it would be a little twist that I would appreciate to a story that was downright awful (except for ttk). Edit Anyone that thinks I'm saying Eris was born as Savathun I'm sorry if I wasn't clear. My theory is that Eris went into the dark to kill Crota and died. Savathun (using hive magic) transformed herself into a deformed version of Eris because well darkness. The reason this sticks in my mind is because "I don't have time to explain why I don't have time to explain". Now like I said before if she is an agent of Savathun that makes more sense, stripped of her ghost and her light; pledging allegiance to a hive god to survive the dark seems pretty logical and would serve as a decent twist as outlined above.
