Honestly, it's the shotguns now. With the inclusion of artifacts that allow sprinting all the time and shadestep, there's nothing more frustrating than the Matador throughout the 3 years of Destiny.

If all primaries were buffed, it wouldn't be so bad, shotguns will always be good in this game, but with primary weapons so bad it does amplify the problem.. imagine a world where you could kill someone running at you with your primary in say just a fraction of a second faster.

If all primaries where buffed this game would be a twitch shooter and not an arena shooter. Special ammo is the problem not the special weapons

Time to kill is different in this game compared to COD.

All I want is stopping power. I want primaries to not just flinch people sniping, but stagger/slow down, those who are running. What's the point of high impact weapons when they don't mean nothing to someone who is titan skating or shadestepping. Nighstalker poison melee already does it, so why not primaries?

Why does every relate buff primaries to lets play CoD.... they just need a slight buff to become slightly better.... Ammo is not a problem... the weapons... wait for it.... are the problem... and i'm not saying nerf them I'm just saying buff the -blam!-ing primaries.... a little bit. if there was any sort of balance between the two, you could have unlimited ammo and it'd be fine because you'd use the SPECIAL weapons in SPECIAL situations not all the -blam!-ing time.

The primary weapons back before the dark below were fine, but pulse rifles still needed a buff back then. Literally just go back to the pre-dark below and buff pulse rifles and watch the pvp be perfectly fine

Every player having an a OhKo weapon for an entire match is most certainly the problem. Ammo for any weapon capable of OHKO should be extremely limited and only for the player who picks it up, not every player standing beside the crate.

It wouldn't be a problem if they could be countered with half a -blam!-nig brain and a primary... right now you can make all the right plays and someone will fly at you with a shotgun... movement has become faster than the (primary) weapons ability to kill.

This game is an arena shooter not a twitch shooter, of course players will be able to run away from primary fire. Go play GOW and bitch because they ran away, or halo, or unreal tournament, quake or doom. Limiting special ammo to pick ups only and only one player can pick it up, would allow more primary gun play and for more team shooting in order to win. Picking up ammo for a OHKO weapon would give that team a slight advantage but wouldnt guarantee victory.... basic mechanics of arena shooters....

you are wrong... everyone even an afk player can out run primaries in destiny... and players are extremely fast and the guns are not.. halo and GOW players are slow so it's not a big deal. I don't want every gun to one shot I just was a SLIGHTLY faster ttk of primaries...

I keep saying Primaries or at least higher impact weapons should have stopping power. What's the point of high impact guns when they're outclassed by pea shooter Pulse rifles and sprinters can just suck up the shots from scouts and hand cannons. It's pathetic to see what Bungie has done to Crucible.

I agree.. I love this game and have over 1000hrs. but they keep making things worse and need a hard reset. They have poor communication to the players when it comes to what their goals are and what we want.... they hide out and drop changes way to far apart with little to no time to discuss it with players and then go back into hiding for 6 months... they need a pvp player as a community manager the same way pve players have Deej and Cosmo.

All guns earned, no matter where should have the same base range/stability. Allow possible perks like reload or items that buff your abilities, but none of this custom roll gear. Maybe make a playlist where it's Gunsmith only guns and even if you join in, it changes the roll on your guns to match the base archetype. I'm so sick of having to deal with RNG on guns that drop, yet Exotics, Trials & Raid guns are all set rolls. Remember back in Halo when you actually had to pick up the special weapons? It was only one wielder rather than a whole team gaining the weapon. They really need to limit special weapon ammo in this game. Destiny will be a joke if it is really trying to be a part of MLG. Even those exhibition games of the 'top streamers (lol)' was unwatchable. 3 years of nothing but failure on the PVP side.
