Can we all maybe just admit that preordering the game was a bad plan given that:
1. Pre loading was pointless as the thing wouldn't run on launch
2. There appear to be problems with the pre-order bribes.
Basically, if you want these sharkish practices to stop, then stop throwing money at the screen by blindly pre ordering!!

at this point its not blindly preordering. Its preordering based off the FACT that its a trusted company who has released quality dlc every time and did it again this time around
-
And yet it still went wrong, it's almost like pre ordering is completely pointless and gains you nothing
-
I'd just like to get my sparrow. Is that so wrong?
-
Yes. Because by falling for the bribes you're disincentivising them actually making the expansion good.

Normally i'd agree with you, you should never pre-order games - it sets a bad precedent. In my view, It's akin to lending money to relatives. To address your points: 1) Launch day's are rarely smooth, for anything. This time around, however, I think they turned it around quite professionally. 2) The problem with the bribes (pre-order bonuses) is what i'm trying to point out, and honestly, if they don't address this then I'd have to drop buying their products altogether. I no longer buy the game for myself (see my profile characters) but I might buy it as a gift for others - now i'm going to have to rule that out as well. I bought the pre-order as a gift for my brother, it's what he wanted so the purchase was going to be made regardless, the bonuses were icing on the cake in my view. Getting screwed twice in one go (both for him and me) doesn't sit well with me which why i'm hoping they address the issue. The gist of the issue is that the bonuses were supposedly not platform or retailer exclusive (It says so in their trailer). If it were, I would have purchased it from another retailer.

So why pre order? You gain nothing from doing so and are adversely effected by day one screw ups. Why bother?
