I would like it if it went back to the 6 round mag and really slow reload again. Keep the poison stacking and buff it to 6 stacks. Also buff the poison damage to AI by 200%-400%

  • I'd say Poison-Damage to PVE targets by 250% would be good, but if we're talking a total re-spec of balancing, I'd keep it the 9-round mag, they've already reduced its range by 25%, but instead of stacking the damage, I'd have consecutive shots multiply the output of DOT. Keep the DOT to 4 pulses, but have it so one-shot deals 3-damage per tick, the next shot buffs it to 6-damage per-tick, the 3rd-shot increased it to 9-damage per-tick, and the DoT counter would start from the time of the last shot. But to keep it balanced, if there's more than 2 seconds between taking shots, it resets. To put it in a more simple way, you get 2-shots, "Bang-Bang," and the DoT becomes 6-HP for 4 pulses. But if 3 seconds later you land a 3rd-shot, it drops it back down to 3-HP, instead of increasing it to the 9-HP. In other words, if you can't land rapid shots, you don't get the full effect of DOT. And if you REALLY wanted to make the players earn the DoT perk, rather than just having played rely on it as a crutch, make it so the DoT effect only occurs AFTER you've landed at least 1 head-shot. In other words, 3 Body-shots = No DoT/Poison. 1 Head-Shot then 2 Body-Shots = 3 stacks of DoT, but, 2 Body-Shots + 1 Head-Shot = 1 stack of DoT.

  • It was my first exotic and it got me through a good chunk of pve in vanilla when I was 3 lvls to low lol(the dot allowed me and my buddy to be able to kill anything haha, so idc if its nerfed in PvP, but they really need to make these changes so it would be great in pve
