Bloom and accuracy cones have to go. If I know how to aim, my bullets should connect.

  • No they shouldnt. Stability and accuracy and range are there for a reason. If every shot that had a reticle on hit there would be no point in those stats. You might as well just have a light stat and lose 95 percent of the weapons. Plus remember it doesn't just affect you but everyone. You would have a far worse time in crucible if this was the case. Especially with aim assist.

Stability is recoil. Recoil management is a skill in pretty much every shooter. While my weapon "jumps" around, my reticle isn't on my enemy, and thus my bullets will not hit. This is perfectly fair, because my aim is off. Bloom is something different. Bloom means that my enemy is in my sights, which implies that I have the necessary aiming skills to keep my sights on the enemy, but I do not hit nonetheless. If I can aim, my bullets should always connect. To be honest, I didn't understand the other 2/3 of your post. Do you mean that Aim assist counteracts what I am saying? AA is an integral mechanic of pretty much every console FPS. It's an assist, not an aimbot.

  • Aim assist functions only within its intended range. If you alter how range functions you alter how aim assist functions. Accuracy is embedded in range if you are wondering how this is relevant.

  • Uhhh.... Did you play Y1? Bungie added accuracy when TTK dropped. They could just as well remove again. Read TTK patch notes, if you don't believe me. AA only plays a role when your enemy isn't in your sights. If this isn't the case, AA is irrelevant anyhow.

  • "Bungie added accuracy when TTK dropped". That's quite possible the most retarded and Ill-informed thing I've ever heard.

  • The way accuracy works now, was added in TTK. If you played an ounce of Destiny in Y1, you would known that all weapons were hitting point blank in Y1. You just have to read the patch notes for TTK if you don't believe me, and search for "Thorn" gameplay from Y1, to confirm it. It's obvious afterwards. The accuracy stat was most definitely present in Y1 already, because hammer forged "increses accuracy". Since nobody ever noticed any inaccuracies though, it's doubtful that the stat had any effect until TTK dropped.
