  • What they should do to help eliminate the old issue (where players only used certain guns bc they were elemental) is have xur sell an elemental object of some kind, he can sell one each week (arc, solar, void) for 20, 30, 50 strange coins, and they can be applied permanently to any primary legendary or exotic. It elemenates the old issue and helps keep people looking for all kinds of new guns, but also adds another level of customization and personalization.

      In terms of year one stuff? Yes, make the old raids have a high level version. Year 3 VoC, Fatebringer, Praedyths Revenge, etc. Keep them the same, but for new stuff? Make it diverse. Fatebringer was always Arc. Loved the gun but when VoG gave me two in one drop, I was a little sad (because they were the same)... The Gjallarhorn made up for it though, since it was my first! The point I'm making is: Have a specific 'set' of different perks that don't come with any other guns, as well as a random damage type (Kinda like PoE with Wolves' Leash and Wolves' Leash II, as well as the trials weapons). There's your diversity. If there were MORE primaries with other damage types it would be just the same... But cooler lol. Maybe Bungie should even create some new damage types? Maybe something like Radiation or something lol... Plenty of that in space too. Edit: Maybe give the kinetic only weapons unique and interesting perks, so there will still be a reason to use them.

        Elemental Primaries were one of the main reasons to even do the Raids. It was Endgame PvE Content that you spent time on (and kneeled before RNGesus) to possibly acquire them which you then used to make OTHER PvE Endgame Activities like the Nightfall or PoE/CoE that much more doable. It is pigheaded to think they should not return in the next raid just because you want things to stay hard. Fun Fact - Difficulty is determined by THE PLAYER AND HIS/HER BRAIN. Of course shooting elemental shields with Kinetic Weapons makes it harder - but arguing that we should NOT have something to make it easier after working your arse off for it, because someone else thinks it limits what weapons we use? Then make that choice to use a different weapon on your own. So Freaking What if im using VoC to eat a solar shield and you moan about not having one or how "Easy" it is to kill with them. THATS WHY I DID THE RAID IN THE FIRST PLACE!!!! Even when Trials of Osiris came into existence it was an alternate activity that ALSO rewarded Elemental Primaries to those who could make it to the Lighthouse - and they make ZERO DIFFERENCE in PVP anyways.

        • I'd already be satisfied, if the new weapons were good, not like the mediocre stuff from KF. Raid weapons not only need to look special, they have to be versatile in the first place (who constantly uses one of the KF weapons except maybe the LMG?)

            I liked the HoW system with every endgame drop having a random element I liked the TDB and VoG system of every raid drop having set in stone great perks I wish they would merge the 2, i like that they're keeping 1to1 infusion in y3, i wish they would combine a random element to a gun with great perks I don't mind not having burns on legendarys, make all exotic primaries have a burn but if the burns are off the table, please, for the love of god make the guns have good perks the main reason I hardly bothered with the raid in y2 was because the guns were such garbage they all have horrid stats, the perks are totally random and they can only roll 1 main and 1 secondary perk because cocoon takes up a whole primary perk node and cocoon is only marginally useful on the raid guns because they purposely set the reload stats so low. every other legendary weapon in the game is automatically on a higher tier than every raid weapon because they get 2 main and 1 secondary perk, and the base stats are better nearly all around. and yes, quiliams is in that list, it's not that great. you were always getting killed by it because everyone had one because it was a guaranteed 320 drop from the easiest challenge boss, so everyone used it. now that 1to1 infusion exists, and there are more places to get 330+ drops you hardly ever see it in pvp anymore. every other legendary hmg in its archetype class in the game is better because of the perk tree

              • How about make raid weapons worthwhile again period. Kings fall has the sniper and machine gun. Everything else is rather meh. The primaries are trash. Make the perks great again.

                • They definitely need to bring them back. Raids are meant to be the final endgame, so why not get the best weapons from them? It doesn't make sense to me that people don't want them, as the best guns in the game should be awarded for what is supposed to be the biggest challenge.
