Response: I came to this forum in the most respectable fashion to receive insight on a subject. What I got however was people who just read the title instead of the actual post. Have a nice evening browsing the forums replying to articles with irrelevant topics because you are too lazy to write your own post. I thought this community was better than this. I'm extremely disappointed today, and hope you guys figure out how to read the posts.

 • You made a post asking for a nerf. This community is tired of nerfs so I can understand why your post insights blinding anger. But ppl also need to correct you with some degree of decency. I used to be one of those ppl. Trust me flinch is fine. You just need to practice better radar awareness and the use of cover.

 • I read your whole post. And I think it's stupid. I'm disappointed that there's yet another post complaining about a simple game mechanic instead of figuring out how to get better. Here's one tip. Be the first to shoot in a gunfight. If you're not, learn to move out of the way and recover your health. Flinch isn't the problem. Your slow reaction time, poor aim and general unawareness of your surroundings are the problems. Instead of being another one of these posts saying "There's too much of this or too much of that", come on here and say "Hey. I'm getting my ass kicked in gunfights with auto rifles. I lose my target because my gun flinches so much, especially when the other guy gets a shot off first." If you came in with the attitude of your gameplay needing help instead of "auto rifles have too much flinch" then you would get a better response. You would get more of constructive criticism type of posts that you need. So, I might be a dick. But think about how you approach PvP and how you approach the forums. You'll probably yield better results.

 • And sir. I consider myself a fairly decent player, I'm quite skilled on a sniper.

 • Yeah the title might be a little misleading, but i always enjoyed destiny because of how much a gunfight could change even if you messed up you could always find a way to get out of there somehow, toss a nade, fire off some quick snipes e.t.c but honestly I don't like the call of duty style gunplay where shooting first gets you the kill. I like intricate gunfights where victory could be in any of the two fighting parties, idk maybe I was just tired yesterday and couldn't aim right. But I just felt annoyed, I could use my sniper perfectly but if I tried using my hand cannon it just wouldn't do it. That's what I felt like yesterday and wanted to see if anyone else felt like they weren't achieving any sort of accuracy. (I hadn't lost all my gunfights I'm not some noob at pvp I've played for 2 years now) but like I said I don't want cod gunfights. Make sense?

 • Yeah. It makes sense. I like longer time to kill in PvP. I think it makes a gunfight more dynamic. It gives you more options in every engagement. But I also think that we're hoping for something that is just not in Destiny. At least the way it's going. That's why I'm seriously hoping Battlefield 1 gets it right. We'll see.

 • I hope. I always felt like destiny had achieved this until probably around all the stupid nerfs anyone agree?
