I personally am anti-gun laws, I feel everyone deemed safe by initial reviews should be able to purchase one.
If one person in that club would have had a gun the story might have ended very differently.
What criminal would stick up a store where they know many of the shoppers could have a gun? Texas has one of the lowest crime rates for a reason.

Well said!! I'm from Louisiana. Im all for second amendment. Taking away guns will not solve anything. all it does is leaving us law abiding citizens defenseless. On the the hand the one who wants to commit crimes will find other means to kill or harm others. Keep in mind laws only apply to those who follows and obey them. Criminals don't obey them hence they are called criminals. Just think about it. with us lawful citizens armed. Criminals have to think twice before breaking in to someone's house. Because they have to take in consideration that the home owner might be armed. If you take guns away then they will break in without hesitations. I do believe that they should tighten up on the processes which it takes for you to purchase a gun. More extensive back ground check.

Exactly, I can't agree more, a more extensive background check but make it easier for normal, law abiding citizens. I wish my state had easier gun restrictions, here in NY it's almost impossible, likely as a result crimes happen as frequently as you'd expect. *sigh

I had to re-read your comment. You're anti-gun laws, not anti-gun. I-m a pleb. A very good point. Maybe things would have been different. Thanks for your input!
