Considering how every Hunter in PVP is now spec'd to have almost instantly recharging grenades, a nerf was definitely needed for this particular grenade. If you've ever played Mayhem against six Hunters laying mines all over the map every 3 seconds you would understand that something had to be done. It's one thing to say that a nerf went overboard. But to completely ignore a problem that exists simply because that was YOUR cheesy strategy is kinda lame.

The problem really didn't exist. Hunters aren't the only class that can have two sticky grenades, and the only way for them to get their two shitty, double-edged sticky grenades they have to use an exotic armor piece. As for its affect in Mayhem, who gives a shit? It's a rotating playlist designed solely for dicking around

Good point for one game mode where you could say the same about Titan lightening grenades or Warlock OR Titan firebolt grenades. If you are a SKILLED hunter you are upset about this nerf. If you ever stuck another player with a tripmine you definitely deserve the kill. It's basically the same as sticking someone with a fusion grenade or magnetic grenade. There was no point of them taking that away. It was pretty careless in my opinion.
