This is really not the direction I was hoping Destiny would go. Iron Banner & the Iron Lords aren't really interesting.
Why can't we just get an expansion that brings the Traveler & the Stranger back?
Destiny is like one of those "create your own story" books but instead of turning to said page, you just read it all the way through. Everyone is confused af.

Not even that. Like starting a book, finishing it halfway, then grabbing the last book in the series and starting backward.

The story is not finished.

And it never will be

So I've been sold half a product. Great.

No, Order 1887 is a half product. This is a game that will develop it's story over time. You are a part of it, and you will see the growth. Vanilla destiny is act 1. Taken King is act 2. Rise of Iron may be act 3.

Quantum break had all "acts" included.
psst. Secretly, they're making it up as they go along.
And that game lasted, what, 8-12h? I have more than that on a single character in Destiny.

Edited by BIT5 AND PIECE5: 6/1/2016 7:54:14 PMBecause destiny is what, a grind-fest? And it's designed to do that.
skyrim was the best. Double what my destiny is on that.
I'm not a fan of open world sandbox games. Skyrim bored me about 5h in. Found a wait to level up easy, killed any of the mild enjoyment. Easily exploitable game. I knew what I was getting into with Destiny, and there's not an aspect about it I dislike aside from Meta.
-
Then you ruined the game for yourself, didn't you?

I used in-game mechanics in a way that was intended in order to provide a fast grind for myself. Didn't help that every dungeon is exactly the same as the last, either. At least Fallout NV/3 had variety.

May I add that destiny's levels are exactly the same too...?

Sepik's Prime only has similarities to archon priest and Golgoroth. Brothers is one of the best strikes created in the game, honestly more fun than Crota's End and nearly as fun as the other raids. Alak Hul is a very different spin from most other strikes. Restorative Mind also takes a unique aspect of its own, and it makes me sad that XBL doesn't have access yet. If you think that because a shooter makes you shoot, it's the same thing every time, at least it's not an RPG where every enemy in every dungeon faces away from you by default. Everything is set up so you could stealth 95% of dungeons no problem.
