Good stuff. We kind of knew the name of the 9 Iron Lords well before the PS Exclusive gear, from Year 1 IB weapons: Silimars Wrath, Gheleons Demise, Skorris Revenge, Felwinter's Lie....all the way down to Jolder's Hammer. The descriptions from the PS Exclusive Gear is pretty much verbatim from the Y1 weapons
So the Y2 Iron banner weapons must be named after the 9 Iron Wolves which makes their names as follows: Nirwen, Haakon, Colovance, Finnala, Deidris, Ashraven, Weyloran, Tormod and Bretomart

Can someone maybe fill me in, or point me to another post or video filling me in on all this iron wolves and iron lords lore? I know a bit, but not much.
-
I don't have either, but I think the Iron Banner clas items talk about and introduce the Iron Wolves. The names of the Lords and Wolves we have taken from the names of the weapons, with the Lords from Yr 1 and Wolves from Yr2 Iron Banner weapons. The names of the weapons also give an insight into what happened with them, Felwinter's Lie, Skorri's Revenge, Radegast's Fury, etc. From those we can piece together that the Iron Lords perhaps fell to infighting, with Gheleon even saying that they were formed to protect, not to fight themselves on the Segoth's Head artifact. So the Iron Wolves were formed, and perhaps still stand, and themselves and Saladin may be the leading group in this next part of the story. Sorry if this raises more questions instead. :)

Ever notice that the Y1 banner weapon names have negative connotations? Lie, Demise, Wrath, Fury, etc? The Y2 ones have honorable or neutral ones. Spear, Mercy, Duty, Flight...
-
Isn't spear for Efrideet? That's Yr 1 too. That's probably due to whatever oath they took, to not fall to what fate their predecessors did. I can't help but question Finalla's Peril. Is there a space in the Iron Wolves?
-
Yeah you're right. March is the year 2 sniper. But again, doesn't it seem odd that those Y1 weapons have aggressive, negative names, while the Y2 ones seem more, passive?
-
Seeing as Felwinter may have been a Voidwalker, and the name "Felwinter's Lie", I can't help but think he had dark thoughts or did something the rest didn't agree with, which in turn led to infighting and eventually they must have fought against each other, hence "Skorri's Revenge". The Iron Wolves seem to all stand together, unlike the original Iron Lords.

interesting.

We knew the names, but the classes were still argued over
-
The classes of the Wolves are the only ones we can debate over. The Lords we know of. Or is that still in question?
-
Until TTK the Lord's weren't known for sure

Edited by King Nis: 5/31/2016 8:40:42 PMAside from Gheleon, Perun, Skorri, Nirwen, Jolder and Radegast though? Edit: Now I can't remember the second Warlock bond. >_<

Nirwen is a Wolf, most likely
-
Edited by King Nis: 5/31/2016 8:45:03 PMYes, Nirwen is a Wolf most likely from what we know so far. I was referring to your post earlier in regards to TTKs drop and not knowing who the Lords were, when we do. I mentioned Nirwen since that was the name that popped into my head, but we both know Nirwen was an Iron Wolf, not an Iron Lord. Or were you referring to not knowing the Wolves?
-
We knew the names of the Lord's, but we didn't know all their classes. Not until TTK, what are you not getting
-
I misunderstood what you stated earlier in regards to not knowing all of their classes.
-
Ah, yes. If you don't know everything you don't know anything you know? Haha, sorry for the irritation
-
None at all from you man. More so from me. The topic of this has me more interested than work does. >_>
-
Haha no no i was getting rather heated myself
-
I could sense it, but in the end it was my fault so I apologize. My confusion was causing you to get heated.
