Question: Is this Xbox one "Scorpio" a rumor or is it confirmed to exist?
English
-
Obviously a rumor. I hope it stays that way.
-
Why? A console as powerful as a decent PC but is cheaper than a good PC and can be developed for as easily as a PC? What is so bad about that?
-
Cause most people can't afford another console yet, so they will be left behind on some games that are ONLY for that console
-
Which is why I think both Sony and Microsoft have a plan to counter this.
-
Technically a rumor. But often where there is smoke (and there's a lot of smoke in this case) there is a fire.

-
100% rumor.
-
Well, let's hope that this rumor is true.
-
I hope it really exists. Its rumored to target around 6 terraflops. Sign me up.
-
Hype is building! Overwhelming!
-
I haven't seen anything official about it, yet. But you can bet your ass it's true. There are several interview with Phil Spencer where he talks about how he wants the Xbox One being upgrade-able, but not by making a new console every few years. All very interesting stuff.
-
I hope this rumor turns out to be true
-
I just hope that if it is, it won't cost me tooooooo much. Sure I'd like some fancier graphics and for games to be able to do more, but not for the cost of a whole new console. :I
-
4x more powerful than Xbox One and PS4 means more expensive hardware. It's going to cost a lot more than current consoles. If the rumours of it are true then i'd guess it would be close to £800 if not more.
-
Then fudge it.
-
Hopefully i'm completely wrong but if they are bumping up the hardware then I can see the price following.
-
I suppose that makes sense.. But then it's more or less evolving into a PC.
-
Xbones run windows. They are already basically PCs.
-
I'd still rather use a PC then my Xbox for internet related stuff.
-
Edited by Psychic Donuts: 5/30/2016 6:00:33 PMYeah. Everyone would. We are talking about games. An Xbone runs Windows 10. You can develop for it just as easy as for a PC and if it was just as powerful as a PC it would be able to run and play everything on Steam. What is the issue with that?
-
I dunno.

-
Depends on how you interpret that. I basically mean that it is turning into something completely different. Just a PC kinda. I just hope it won't be overly expensive. Was interpret even the right word?
-
My point is that it already is a PC. It can't turn into what it already is.

Okay, okay.. Whatever you say, sugar. *smooch*
