Does that fold up into a foregrip does it? Looks pretty sweet.

Edited by TheNobleWolf: 5/13/2016 1:02:04 PMDon't listen to the other guy... This is a "REAL" FAB Defense T-Pod (it's what the IDF uses, and it's made in Israel and imported into the US by The Mako Group). If you don't believe me then you can look it up yourself... It does fold up into a vertical grip though. And it is also pretty durable.

Any flex or distortion when you pull the rifle back into your shoulder with it?
-
None at all... It's pretty solid.

Nice.

is a plastic knock off of a metal product that most mil users say is absolute shit that breaks easily.
-
A jack of all trades and master of none eh?
grip pods tend to break a lot according to stories from hard-use former .mil guys. more of a novelty, they're bipods that fold into a "grip" that's really meant to be used as a hand position rest instead of a grip. hence why the AFG exists. that's the israeli off-brand plastic version in the OP.
This is a FAB Defense T-Pod...not a GripPod. It's what's used by the IDF. They make them in Israel and import them into the US through The Mako Group. Go look them up if you don't believe me.
the design it self is a knock off of the actual grippod (ie bipod folding into a foregrip) which isn't liked by it's hardcore userbase. the IDF uses a bunch of design knock offs for furniture because they can since they don't have to follow international patent law. it's pretty much what many of their imported designs are. you should be buying american for a muricagat. the proper purpose of a foregrip isn't actually a handle, it's a hand rest and quick LOP position indicator. that's why the AFG was invented. so you actually had a more ergonomic hand rest.
