Not everyone can find a 6-man team, or even a 3-man team and it's kind of a disadvantage for most people.

1 ReplyYes BUT could see it now all the posts complaining saying bout people being shit, afk, troll and so on, so if it was people better get ready for it lol but down to them to deal with it.
-
1 ReplyRaids? No, requires too much coordination. Nightfall? Yes, it's just a glorified strike with more modifiers. Challenge of Elders? Yes, nothing fancy just kill stuff.

Options never hurt anyone

-
No. Waffles.
-
Yeah because if you don't want to then just ask people to do it with you like normal, it won't matchmaker if you have enough people
-
1 ReplyNo, just no. I can see this ending so poorly due to either kindergarden 12 and under players or that one douchey type of player. You know the one, who blames everything going wrong in the raid on you because he can't waste time explaining how it works or why he wants you to do things a certain way.
-
Not for raids all else I think is fine
-
Yes for optional matchmaking :)
-
Definitely not for trials, if I get 25 kills and still lose in elimination, there's gotta be something wrong.
-
Optional. Yes.
-
Optional yes! But lfg is fine! And why not use the lfg a few times to build your friends list?

Edited by bill_westie: 5/5/2016 2:11:54 PMBungie should see this number as potential gamers leaving the game due to a lack of content. As a solo player it was only Iron Banner which has kept me in the game (which obviously is matchmade). You think lag is bad now, if two thirds of the player base leave, the game will be over. If you think I'm exaggerating visit the court of oryx or go on patrol. I went into an IB 6v6 match this time around and in one match it could only find 4 guardians for each team. At some point it will be too late so i hope you enjoy The Division. The Division will not kill Destiny but laziness on behalf of Bungie and complacency by the 33% will.

Agree as long as it's optional.
-
ALWAYS available and ALWAYS optional. I don't understand why anyone would vote no on this.
-
First and foremost: it should be optional always. Second: if your going to put matchmaking in, there needs to be some kind of vote-kick available. Anyone who plays strikes or crucible regularly knows there's a million people who afk. Problem with vote kicking is that it gets abused the hell out of. Which I see as causing way more problems than good. Third: the argument that it's sooooooo hard to find a group for anything is ridiculous. I use 3rd party apps to find groups, not even the massive lfg site that has the majority of players. There's people looking for EVERYTHING just on these small apps. Hard/normal raids. Trials flawless and bountys only. Strikes, random crucible, challenge, court of oryx. And it barely takes any time at all. For those that's don't have access to the lfg app, you can always find people in the tower, been on both sides of doing that, and it works surprisingly well. Tl:dr-matchmaking isn't needed. And would probably be unhelpful overall.

Nightfall and COE Yes match made raids would be a nightmare tho lfg is bad enough most the time

Edited by HyperVigiIant: 5/5/2016 9:11:11 AMThe game should have player created matchmaking lobbies for different end game activities that other people can search for. The lobby will allow the host to determine if people have mics, etc. The host would be able to make the lobby private or public and limit how many people can join. I went into much greater detail in another post, but I can't find it now. I guess it would be like an in game chat room for the purpose of matchmaking. Players could choose to join a hard raid chat room or a POE challenge mode chat room. Maybe the hosts would name the rooms. You should be able to use text chat to communicate too!
-
Sure, why not.
-
Yes yes yes, not interested in Raiding & for most things talking isn't necessary, which suits me just fine 😜👍🏻
-
Good grief no - Matchmaking for Raids would be a nightmare for everyone who tried to use it. Typically the majority of those that want it are those who have never Raided before, and have no idea what a headache it would be.
-
The risk of AFKrs staying in queue...
-
For everything except raids
-
Not for Raids. Total chaos then. CoE matchmaking would be nice though, and I've never done a Nightfall before.
