I'd ask you if you are dumb as -blam!- but...being proud of a .22 conversion kit for a Kimber and an AMA about it and I got my answer already

Just because you can't afford a Kimber does not give you the right to get mad at those of us who can.
-
Please boy. I'm not from Montana. I only own and operate weapons systems preferred by USSOC not wannabe hipster shit like Kimber.
-
You do realize that the Kimber Warrior SOC is used by the United States Marine Corps Special Operations right?
-
No I didn't realize that and I almost don't believe that as I have never seen a contract awarded to Kimber. I do know that in other SOF elements, the operators can choose their gear so maybe it that's how Kimber slipped it's way into MARSOC. What I can say with conviction is that Special Forces prefer Glock 19 and since the Special Forces are the guys that conduct MARSOC selection and then training, I figured MARSOC would follow suit. I can also say with conviction that SEALs prefer Sig 226/229s.

Detachment One used them as there standard sidearm, and I'm pretty sure that the Raiders still use a few...
who cares about Special Forces... Marine SOF and SOCF are where it's at.
Army Special Forces are not that great compared to Marine and Navy Special Operations Forces.

maybe unofficially, but the official contract for MARSOC and the marines in general went to Colt for a metallurgically inferior design to the 1911A1s of WW2, something that reportedly cracks the frame in 5000 rounds. besides that, MARSOC is actually below the standards required to be a part of JSOC. now, Kimber is known as MIMber for a reason. they use cheap materials meaning a lot of injection molded plastic parts with a metal flake inside so it shines when it breaks, and they don't take too much effort to avoid scratches and rust issues on actual metal parts of new units. bragging about a mimber is like bragging about having a formula 1racecar when you buy a powerwheels because they're both technically cars. Dan Wesson, higher end Springfields, Les Baer, Ed Brown, those are all much better brands for using actual metal parts. you should strive for SVI instead. those are literally works of completely custom, hand-fitted art.

I've never had any problems with my Kimber.
-
yeah, well they had big problems a few years ago, and suffered a major QC drop when they had a new CEO who cut corners while maintaining prices to make a profit.
