I personally think the changes they made to TLW were just what needed to happen. The buff to hipfire accuracy and stability (but not damage) means that using the weapon requires more skill, in my opinion. You're no longer relying on the extra damage to give you the edge. In my head I'm thinking quality over quantity. Instead of increasing the quantity of the damage done, the perk improves the quality, i.e., more accurate and stable damage.
If you're skilled enough to get those headshots with hipfire, you'll benefit enough from the extra stability and accuracy that you won't need the extra damage to wreck people with the weapon.

Eh, i disagree. I land triple heads shots ads, can never pull of more than one with hip fire. TLW Perk is ruined without bonus damage
-
That's why I said it takes skill now. You need to be skilled with hip-fire to use it effectively.
-
But why hip fire at all now?
-
For the extra stability and accuracy
-
Even with hip firing accuracy bonuses aiming down sights is more accurate
-
Possibly, but the stability is crap when ads.
