Ranking up anything in this game is a -blam!-ing joke. Especially factions. Stopped caring a long time ago, even more when they nerfed all the XP gains. Typical Bungie wankers.
-
Use a crucible bond and rep booster and you 212 rep per win
-
1 ReplyDo you get rep for farming omnigul each time you kill her?
-
2 RepliesEdited by darowing2: 4/22/2016 5:19:00 PMEven 6 strikes are too much for a stupid pack. You get only bullshit. 3 -blam!-ing arms in row. All the same. The last two house of judgment i got a class item. A -blam!-ing class item you can buy. That game is and will ever be a joke ... the loot system sucks. Braindead people design that. Rng perks to top it. Everyone who plays that game for the loot has no life and is braindwad as well. If you have fun running a strike its ok. But grinding ... or do that -blam!-ing missions on patrole.... how a low life have you to be to do that? And the legendary engrams with the vendor gear.... who needs that? You can basicly dismabtle all legendary engrams or let the postmaster delete them. Again ... a useless loot system. Go buy your venguard boosters desticles. .

Correct me if I'm wrong but don't you only get the 500 from the nightfall once per character per week? I could be wrong though.

13 RepliesHow much more do you get for a Crucible win then? This post also does not take into account that: - with Gunsmith weapons equipped for these activities (as appropriate to difficulty and enemy types) an extra chance at a 335 drop can be gained. - with good management of glimmer consumables, turning in glimmer relics and dismantling blues enough glimmer can be earnt to continuously purchase weapon parts to trade to your faction (yes, weapon parts are most efficient GLIMMER purchase, heavy ammo is most efficient STRANGE COIN purchase) - a high number of strange coins can be earnt to be turned into heavy synths - reputation boosters exist. - bounties can be handed in WHIST IN ACTIVITY to gain boosted rep from a booster And so the REAL speed of levelling up factions is WAY faster than the base speed.
-
Don't forget bounties can add into possible rep, as well as class items and boosters
-
4 RepliesBut Deej said we would lvl up faster than ever before.....
-
Do you get less for non-heroic strikes?
-
Technically it is less than that. Patrol missions reward glimmer as well as rep. You can turn this into gun parts for faction donations. That's an extra 50 rep every 2.5 missions completed.

9 RepliesEdited by Wook-13-e: 4/22/2016 11:12:13 AMI do lord shaxx bounties for a day and as many other as I can hold or complete, equip crucible class item, pop a booster, bam 1 rank right there and you get lord shaxx's drop! so that's like two After I load up on vanguard bounties, equip vanguard class item, pop one of those boosters, run some strikes, bam 1 rank right there whatever's left for my faction, which by the end of the above I've already gotten a rank and then some, I top off the next rank by using heavy synth, so that's 2! 4 rank packages per chararcter each week add in the gunsmith and variks packages every other then the PoE packages that's 6+, you got the Court stuff too. That's a lot and my path to 335. I got this down pat. Then when I hit 335 I'll do the raid again and just rake it in Best part Iron Banner next week, oh yeah! even more $h!t

1 ReplyI believe the booster literally doubles rep gain from heroic strikes. So 10 or 11 will get you there.
-
3 RepliesYou know you get between 22 and 44 rep for patrol beacons don't you, it's a lot quicker than doing strikes.
-
I imagine you got really bored to the extent where you thought math would be fun?
-
Edited by Devasstator: 4/22/2016 12:34:16 PMHahahaha, that sounds horrible and mind-numbing.
-
It's way less with the booster. I think I ran around 10 heroics and leveled up my vanguard.
-
3 RepliesJust gotta win those crucible matches, with a booster.. btw how can we get more boosters 😆
-
3 RepliesYou forgot the overcharge patrol mission. Than can give up to 80
-
3 RepliesIs the nightfall rep only on first completion with that character, or can you farm the nightfall for rep?
-
If you have a class item that gives vanguard rep its 44/55
-
17 RepliesIF you have a Crucible Rep booster AND a Cloak, Mark or Bond with Crucible rep gain a win gets you 218 XP With that set up you'd need 12 wins to rank up! Just an FYI!
-
-
Never mind that the heroic playlist increases the rep you gain every strike, up to a cap of 3. You can, if you're using a booster, get a rank in Vanguard with 9 strikes in a row, I believe.
-
Nice post! would be cool to see a follow up with class item boosters and crucible wins included!
-
8 RepliesThese are BASE STATS. Obviously there are boosters which will expedite the process. Nice write up, OP.
