Anyone else think updates predominately for PVP should be separate from PVE so that the cry babies in PVP don't nerf our fun in PVE?
E.g. Special & Heavy Ammo? Mida's High Calibre rounds? Revives? Sniper Nerfs? Etc...

Offensive supers alone are reason enough for them to separate PVE and PVP. Last I checked, a nova bomb merely makes a major just kind of snicker. Rockets feel super weak. Less ammo in PVE is truly just less fun. Bye staggering adds with MIDA Yah, separate them!

2 RepliesEdited by strider367: 4/16/2016 1:49:13 AMThe simple answer is they can't. Unlike all the other pvp devs who partition their pvp games from pve. Bungie stuck with their old halo model. which is a single built. So your just stuck with this. Hopefully with destiny 2 they will do this. But knowing bungie for so long I highly doubt it. So expect this nonsense again and again...

2 RepliesIt's been almost two years and they have yet to prove they can handle balancing for both PVE and PVP simultaneously. Actually they have yet to prove they even understand the concept of balancing for both PVE and PVP. Bungie should heed the words of the immortal Dexter Holland.
You Gotta Keep 'Em Separated.
Been saying this since they actually DID make PVE and PVP only changes for HOW.... but ever since just fvcking over PVE.

3 Repliesagreed. Had to stop firing my Black Spindle at Golgoroth before time ran out just so I'd have one shot left to take the gaze during challenge mode.

Signed. PVP is ok but Destiny was supposed to be based around PVE so the other stuff should -blam!- off
-
Signed. constantly running out of ammo in PVE now due to shitty PVP nerfs.

Neither side is going to be happy as long as the game forces one type of player into the other type of game. Complete seperation of PvP like you see in every other game out there is the only solution.

2 RepliesI agree, lets buff fusion rifles.

Already brought this 2 light in one of my threads check it if you want but I highly doubt bungie will seperate them

Countersigned like Indraga. One of the reasons I love destiny is that pvp and pve coincide so smoothly.

5 RepliesI was with you up until you labelled PvP'ers as "Cry babies". It's not our fault you can't hack it in the Crucible (and evidently the raid lol... why are people still stuck on normal mode?) To be perfectly blunt (and more civil) Bungie's insistence on maintaining perfect symmetry between PvE and PvP is completely asinine. I understand their reasons why, but in practice it's just not practical nor fun. Take the Thorn changes for example - aside from totally missing the mark yet again, they pretty much destroyed the gun for both modes and it's not even a year 2 weapon. The changes to aggressive ballistics have also negatively impacted many weapons harshly (most notably the Necrochasm and Vex Mythoclast). Speaking of the Vex, what the hell Bungie? Thanks for furthering ruining an already troubled weapon. But I digress, these changes they keep making are extremely annoying and rather than incentivise players to try new options, they simply clamp down on what's (overly) popular. Removing HCR from MIDA was really, really lame and took away a huge part of it's PvE utility. Now it's purely a speed weapon rather than a soloist's dream gun. The Heavy & Special ammo changes are also frustrating. Rocket Launchers are already underused and machine guns were just fine. Oh and the balance changes? Holy overreaction batman. Just like Hammers had their luster stolen, now Stormtrance is a pitiful shadow of its former self in PvE. I understand why they hit it, it really was obscene getting killed by someone in PvP, respawning, and then getting killed again by the same damn super. They could have simply reduced it's total maximum duration or made the energy change only affect PvP but nope, gotta keep everything the same. It was pretty cool being able to just light up an entire room with electricity and generate a tonne of orbs for the team (just like it was amazing throwing hammers and exploding everything, or generating near-infinite orbs with the bow) but well, we all know how Bungie feels about people having fun in their game by now don't we.

Sign me up. Make them pull up vanilla armor the other dlc gear. Fix those other two raids while they are at it too! Make them both have a lvl 41 and 42!
