The Bible has over 500 prophecy's up to 2000 years old, every one happened exactly prophesied in the Bible.
I cannot prove that God exist, just as much as you cannot prove he don't.
Also check this out it's just Noah's Ark found over 14,000 feet above sea level resting on top Mt Ararat.
The Bible wrote of Noah's Ark resting on Mt Ararat, then thousands of years later we find it their exactly how it was described.
Believe in God and repent your sins, the end is near!

The end is near? Really?
-
Pretty sure he's joking bud
-
Oh thanks

Edited by Æsir: 3/19/2016 4:20:55 PMYou know the happenings in the Noah's Ark story are physically impossible in this universe, example, humans don't live to be however old Noah was (600 or some nonsense), there isn't enough water on Earth for a global flood of that scale to have happened, a wooden vessel the size of Noah's Ark is not sea worthy (it would have sunk and everything aboard would have died), a single mating pair is generally far below the minimum viable population of a species. I could go on, but you get the drift.
-
Now through an Omnipotent God into the mix. He could provide all of those things with ease.
-
An omnipotent god is impossible, see the omnipotence paradox.
-
Impossibility doesn't exist with omnipotence.
-
Yes it does, see the omnipotence paradox.
-
Lmao. The paradox is an excuse you use to deny a deities existence. "Could god make a rock so heavy he couldn't lift it?" No because that's stupid. God doesn't do stupid. If there are limits to his power they aren't comprehensible to us.
-
God doesn't do stupid.
That's because "god" doesn't exist. The paradox isn't to disprove your god, it is to disprove omnipotence which it does, denying that makes you look foolish and overly indoctrinated.
-
Check back with me on the day you die. You'll be whistling a different tune.
-
No I won't, and you are stupid for even suggesting that. At the end of the day if your god is real he is a cruel and sadistic demon and more than likely the satan of the bible.
-
You are deceived if that is what you truly believe. My god is loving, kind, compassionate. What you described are the attributes of Satan.
-
Edited by Æsir: 3/20/2016 2:46:58 AMWhat I described are the attributes of your god (ie satan)....according to the bible and general observations.
-
Right. It's clear to me that you haven't actually studied the Bible. Just willing swallowed what you've been force fed.
-
Edited by Æsir: 3/20/2016 2:54:37 AMI have studied the bible, infact given my upbringing I probably know more about your religion than you do.
-
Given your upbringing? That's doubtful.
-
Doubt all you want, it won't change anything.
-
What turned you away? Make your case.
-
First of all it was the evil and hypocrisy of the christian "god", on top of that logic and reasoning suggests that religion is just a fairy tale to put the weak willed/minded and scared at ease. Then learning the true origin of the bible was the final nail in the proverbial coffin.
-
What was the origin? Which hypocrisy?
-
Wait wait wait.......are you trying to tell me that you run your life based on a book that you don't even know the origins of?
-
Of course I know the origins. I'm asking you which origins you heard of.
-
.......wow you actually don't know it's origins, talk about blind faith. Roman Emperor Constantine compiled the bible and pretended to be christian in order to gain full control of the Roman Empire. He had a panel of priests choose the books that went into it but paid them to vote for the books he wanted in it. The bible was compiled by a Pagan with the intent of gaining power and fooling the peasants and lower classes into accepting their lot and remaining passive, because it "will get better in the afterlife".

So much gullibility in one short post!
