Of Bungie's best Halo campaigns, which pulled at your heartstrings the most?
Though I love the Chief, I have to hand it to Reach. Bungie went out with a bang. Every death of the NOBLE team felt sincere and sad.

Halo: Reach gave me the most feels.

1 ReplyHalo reach isn't even fücking canon Like look Cortana was already on the pillar when the covenant invaded so the whole sacrifice thing is pointless.
-
1 ReplyReach and 4

You know, I don't mind, once when I was 7 years old, I sat on a banana, and that of course changed my whole life. -Hugh Neutron

1 ReplyEdited by jewishhairgod: 3/10/2016 4:48:31 AMOdst. Especially after that book came out.
Never forget marine 6,834,521 found dead in a random building
13 RepliesNot every death silly. Jun never died. He went to train Spartans.
-
ODST. The music is what really settles it, coupled with the fact that you frequently see dead marines, whose fates you could do nothing for, plus that one cop with a shotgun who is really awesome that dies.
-
Halo 4 was the most emotional in my opinion. Reach follows very closely behind
-
1 ReplyHalo 3, because I touch myself to Cortana in that regularly.
-
8 RepliesWhy is Reach winning? Did people actually care about Noble Team?

6 RepliesI loved all the halo campaigns but not halo 5s story. It seemed misleading and stupid. Until I figured this out... I believe that halo 5 is just a set up. Check the spoiler for my info and clues.
All the clues in the launch gameplay trailer said the following. "When the best goes rogue" "The hero, becomes the Hunted" *epic music* "The greatest hunt in gaming history" It hardly seemed like a hunt, until you consider Cortana. What was she? The best Ai. The sub hero, and she's been making things go haywire. Here my theory. Chief wasnt the one to go rogue at all! It was Cortana. When humanity forgot her she went rogue and wanted revenge. That's when the true hunt begins. I think...
Edited by Koida: 3/10/2016 12:36:21 AMHalo reach around was most touching ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

10 RepliesReach was emotional.

Send me out.... With a bang
-
Halo 3 Just Because of Johnson R.I.P he was want out with a bang
-
We're never going to accept halo 4 into the family.
-
Reach was clearly the best Luckily this wasn't a destiny post, or you'd be cast out forever But there is a place for this, and it's #gaming. If ya wanna stay here, great, but it's not a good place to raise a poll like this. Move it to it's proper place
-
3 RepliesNah, I laughed when the noble team died one by one. Except for Jorge, he was my boy. R.I.P man.
-
ODST all the way.

The FitnessGram™ Pacer Test is a multistage aerobic capacity test that progressively gets more difficult as it continues. The 20 meter pacer test will begin in 30 seconds. Line up at the start. The running speed starts slowly, but gets faster each minute after you hear this signal. [beep] A single lap should be completed each time you hear this sound. [ding] Remember to run in a straight line, and run as long as possible. The second time you fail to complete a lap before the sound, your test is over. The test will begin on the word start. On your mark, get ready, start. Hat

2 RepliesODST or Reach. ODST in my opinion had some of the best characters of any Halo despite how short the game actually was.
-
Reach was the only campaign that actually showed how terrifying the Covenant truly were and how hopeless humanity felt before the Battle of Installation 04. Every victory was short lived with the most notable example being the arrival of an entire fleet after the costly battle to destroy a single supercarrier. As the game progresses, the planet falls further into chaos and destruction. Even though you originally felt helpless in ODST, the troops are able to rally together and actually push back against the Covenant. Noble Team barely made a dent in their forces or efforts until the very end of the campaign, but even then the planet was lost.

Reach It gets me every time, watching the characters you grow close with die right in front of you It was also ironic how they died Kat's death was meh, unexpected? Yes, but meh From there, it all went down hill Kat was the brains of the team, shot in the head Jorge, was heart wrenching, I don't know why To see the big man face death is terrifying in my opinion, especially after he gave you his dog tags Jorge was the heavy weapons and demolition, went out with a bang Carter, it was sad and kinda dull, but still good Sacrificed himself for Six and Emile Carter was the captain of the team, died by going down with his ship Emile was.... Badass to keep it simple, the man was stabbed in the back, and took down several more elites with just his knife, and the infamous line he said; "I'm ready, how 'bout you?!" Emile loved sharp things, died by being stabbed Six was heart wrenching as well The music didn't help either, it added to the lonely feeling already in our minds Took on an entire army before being stabbed (depending on how far you got), and even when he was on the ground, he took a few more with him Six was the lone wolf, and died alone...

Bungie didn't make emotional games. It took 343 to make the games actually have a story with some emotion in it.
