Hello. Good job on the video. One question: On weapons such as Hand cannons you obviously want to prioritize range over probably even stability. What about scouts/pulses? On those longer range weps should you still prioritize range? Is there a middle ground? I always go for stability over pretty much everything. Sounds like I need to change my thinking.

  • my trick with pulse rifles is to focus stability, and go with a scope. Scopes give you a zoom increase, which gives your Damage Drop-off a multiplier. OH CRAP I FORGOT TO MENTION ZOOM!!! Zoom multiplies range. I'll work on that RIGHT NOW!!!

  • You gotta have a balance of range and stability for pulse rifles. A lot of range is great, but not if your bullet spread is so wide that you can only land 1-2 bullets per burst on a target. Stability is important to keep the bullet spread tight, but past medium range and it'll just be as effective as an auto rifle....which isn't good. Pulse rifles really need both range and stability. Scout rifles depend on the fire rate. Slow shooting scouts are better with a ton of range. Stability isn't important because you have plenty of time between shots to line up the cursor again. Fast firing scouts need better stability so it's easy to control. That's what I think about that.

  • Disagree with high impact scouts not needing stability. Their slow RoF demands that you hit your headshots quick or you will be owned by Mida/Snipe. With such a slow RoF and usually low mag count you have to hit those shots and it's way easier when the gun isn't kicking like a mule. Most high impact scouts also have better base range so I tend to focus on stability.

  • Thanks. This helps a lot. I have a Dis 47. With hammer forged/ feather mag and light weight/ hand laid. I've been using feather mag because "wtf is range?" Should switch that to hammer forged obviously.
