Full auto used to be good. Now, it's only good from the hip, when somebody is rushing you wish a shotgun/super.
The gun is most effective when ADS and tapping it about the same rate of fire as you would MIDA.

I have a buddy who uses it and he says sometimes hits just don't register, is this possibly because of the full auto or just connection issues?
I have a buddy who uses it and he says sometimes hits just don't register, is this possibly because of the full auto or just connection issues?
It's a blooming effect. If you ever played halo reach, you could physically see what I am talking about, especially with the DMR. Basically, every gun has a rate of fire threshold before the gun begins to miss where the reticule is actually pointed. It was easy to get the timing of the DMR in halo down, because you could see whenever the reticule returned to its initial size. Unfortunately, in Destiny, you have to approximate. If shots are missing, then the gun is being fired faster than it is intended to be fired. This doesn't mean you won't land shots most of the time. This just means the bullets won't hit where you are actually aiming... May just actually hit another part of the body... Other times, you'll have phantom bullets. Due to the nature of TLW, it's easy to exceed the rate of fire bloom threshold.

There is a weird RNG to hit detection. I see it all the time.

The guns is def not most effective while ads lol
The guns is def not most effective while ads lol
It definitely is. I went 2.81 in trials this weekend using it that way. I'll take my 2-3 crit rounds over your 7-8 body rounds any day. They buffed ADS on hand cannons. For whatever reason, they forgot to omit TLW.

They fixed that with last patch stop lying
