I'm thinking about buying a 32' flatscreen for Christmas. It's main use will be gaming and I have no idea which brand is the best so I could really use some help here.
Which brand do you have? LED or Plasma? Is 1080 really better than 720 if it's only 32 inches? Any help would be much appreciated!

I use a projector on a huge screen and there is no screen lag plus you have a great screen for watching movies and TV
-
I bought a gaming monitor and it's better than any tv I've used before
-
I dont think it matters. I mean I just use a off brand monitor and im good

What console do you have? If you have an xbox, do not get a sony tv. As they don't 'like' eachother. It will still work, but will black out every once in awhile for a second.. it's annoying when I'm in a middle of a competitive match.

BenQ gaming tv monitor if u want no delay between controller and movement on screen. It's the type of thing MLG uses.

2 RepliesDon't buy plasma. Take this advice. Can't remember why but trust me bro you don't want a plasma.

I've always like Panasonic. Every other TV I've ever used has had input lag.
-
Samsung TV's are by far the best I've ever used
-
I didn't know it mattered. Don't they display in the same resolution?
-
Don't get plasma for gaming.

Get a gaming monitor

Samsung is gud

I have a 45" vizio. I love it

1 ReplyJust as Samsung is the best phone... They make a mean TV.

My vizio is great.

If you are playing FPS you get what Pro Esports Uses and get the BenQ 24 or 27 inch gaming monitor
-
Get a computer monitor with a high refresh rate. Better that any TV.

Edited by Ox-_Azza-_xO: 12/20/2015 1:26:44 AMI think Samsung is the best quality but apparently Panasonic has the best frame rate, but I just bought a 50 inch samsung and frame rate/motion blur on the samsung seems better (probably because it's a newer tv and the picture is much better). The only thing to really worry about is the size, going from a 42 inch to a 50 felt strange especially on fps. But once you get used to it headshots are too easy
btw don't do plasma as the energy rating is bad and you can get screen burn
3 RepliesProbably Samsung. That's all I've bought for the last couple years, been really happy with them. I heard Vizio's customer service and whatnot is shit, so I wouldn't go with them (I can't confirm that, because I've never bought Vizio, but why risk it when the others are just as good or better than Vizio, right?)

I'm using a computer screen.

From what I've noticed, 1080 is definitely better than 720. I've had a 32 inch 1080p LED Scepter for about a year and a half now, and it's been perfect for me so far.

Get a curved monitor instead.

I doubt it matters enough to pick based on brand. But I think Sony and Samsung are the gold standard.
