I like how people are still butthurt about ps exclusives. Some people who make these posts claim they aren't mad and don't care but the fact that they took the time to make a post about it shows otherwise

Can't ppl see that any console exclusive (timed or full exclusive) needs to stop? All it does is pit gamer vs gamer and for what? So someone I'll never meet can trash talk me or anyone who plays games? Come on... If each console needs exclusive games like uncharted and halo to drive specific console sales, then okay... I can accept it (I don't like it).... But shared games (cod or destiny) need to stop dividing gamers within the game itself. All this does in the end is drive away the ppl who might buy a fav game on both consoles.... Like, why should I buy destiny on xbone when there's always content held back for a year, a year that ps4 gets to enjoy it, that most likely will make the item pointless by the time it reaches xbone (see year 1 ps4 exclusive armor sets, etc). If ps4 had timed exclusives for destiny for a few months, okay fine. Those items are still viable in that time frame... But a year later? bungie nerfs or stops updating the original version and leaves it out to die, so with a game like destiny, holding items for a year is just like not having them at all. With a game that has so much promise, they need to either release the items and have them be viable options for xbone a year later or stop with the timed bs. The only year 1 stuff that made it to year 2 in almost it's original form were the ps exotics that got updated. I just think some stuff can be an exception to be exclusive (actually, let ps have cod for a while since Xbox had the dlc early for however long now), but games as big as destiny need to be on the same level (and even interchangeable with each console). Tl;dr --- timed exclusives suck.

I never said I wasn't mad. I was slightly annoyed with all the year 1 exclusives, then frustrated when they still got a strike and crucible map with TTK, but then I was ok because I thought it stop after that. But then this happens, and now I AM mad.

Edited by MandalorianDom: 12/18/2015 1:59:35 AMWell if Destiny was going to be your go to game why get an Xbox? They made it painfully obvious it was going to be supported hard on PS. It's your fault for making the wrong decision. Don't blame Sony

They didn't say " buy destiny on ps4 to get 10 years of ps timed exclusive content that Xbox needs to wait a year to use - and possibly never get to use since most items aren't viable a year later". They were very good at hiding the fact that the exclusives would keep happening after every dlc/release. And at this rate, I'd prefer destiny being a ps exclusive so I wouldn't have to pay the same as the other guy, but possibly lose out on that content a year later (which did happen with year 1 legendary gear).

I bought an xbox because I liked my 360 and I didn't want to lose my account. I was never into this whole "console war" bullsh*t that everyone seemed to be so into before they came out. I had no idea going in to Destiny that sony would be hording exclusives like this for so long.

Well the commercials and E3 showed it was supported hard by Sont
