You will need to repurchase The Taken King as the license is only valid for the console it was purchased on. You can find purchasing options on Bungie's official page at the link:

If you got it digitally with the season pass, before a certain date off of the 360 marketplace around when it released, it also gave you the license for the Xbox one versions.
-
So now I have to rebuy content I already owned? Are you serious?
-
Wow that's stupid. Prob not buying now. Thanks

Edited by Spawn: 12/17/2015 1:17:22 AMYou have never owned the TTK license for the Xbox One thus you will need to purchase it. You can find specifics at the link below. Expansion I and II (The Dark Below and House of Wolves) DOES transfer as long as you're using the same account that it was originally purchased and redeemed with, but The Taken King does not transfer as you don't own the license for Xbox One. https://www.bungie.net/7_Destiny-The-Taken-King-is-not-eligible-for-the-Dig/en/Help/Article/12122 Additionally, any preorder bonuses are not eligible for transfer as that content is also tied to the console it was redeemed on. Just take everything I spent on year one and put a x2 on it.
-
You made the choice to buy it on the 360, not bungie.

Edited by Braxtonvick9: 12/17/2015 4:09:19 AMI didn't have an Xbox on the time of release, and I haven't gotten the chance to get one until now. The idea of making someone rebuy content, even though their purchase history says they have it, is beyond greedy. Like I said, the only thing blocking me is a pay wall. A pay wall I got through on the 360, but oh you didn't have an Xbox one when this game released sorry sucks to be you rebuy our entire game.
