Your issue is Hawkmoon. Try that with the First Curse or a Nicely rolled Handcannon from HoW (with a lot of range) and you will get much more consistent results.
Every Handcannon with a similar range to the pre nerf Hawkmoon will perform pretty well.
They sadly nerfed Hawkmoon into the ground...

The problem with that is Hawkmoon's pre-nerf range was extremely high, and absolutely not what you could expect out of a typical hand cannon.

Edited by Killlerschaf: 12/15/2015 5:25:40 PMWait, did I just find the only person who agrees with the decision to nerf the weapon??? The range wasn't outrageously high. Every HC meta roll since HoW had more range compared to what Hawkmoon has now. Hawkmoon range was perfect, now it's probably a better idea to use TLW.

What? When did I say that? You said every hand cannon with the same range as pre-nerf Hawkmoon performs pretty well. My point is, that range is very high and not typical for a hand cannon, so most of them aren't going to have it. Red Hand IX, The Chance, The Devil You Know. Some of the best hand cannons in the game have had very low range stats. You say my problem is with Hawkmoon, not hand cannons. I say hand cannons only work well right now if they have an abnormally high range value. Low to medium range hand cannons still do not place shots accurately enough, even at medium range. Hawkmoon just happens to now fit into that category.

That's why you rolled for hidden hand a range boosting perk in the middle tree. Hawkmoon's range was pretty normal tbh.

Well.. hawkmoon isn't a typical handcannon. It is mother-blam!-ing hawkmoon. It should perform better than a typical handcannon..
