Make snipers, specifically 1000-yard stare much harder to use or remove completely

The 1000-yard stare should be nerfed

The 1000-yard stare is fine the way it is

Everyone who has played destiny as of recently knows this gun is ridiculously overpowered, very high aim assist along with low range scopes make this the best scout rifle, shotgun, sniper, why use anything else when you have a gun that can be used easily and efficiently in all ranges, mostly 1-shot kills. The decently high fire rate also makes using any other gun obsolete,. This gun should be renamed to be the 1-yard stare and it would probably be much more accurately represented. Please nerf or remove,, this has gotten as annoying as the thorn was in year 1. I have no problem with this gun when it is used at sniper range, if it was used solely in that manner, I would not be posting something here, the problem is that I have seen alot of people use it at shotgun- auto rifle range. Sniping should be long range is all I am saying

It's funny because, the snipers haven't changed since TTK and 2.0. The aim assist was always there but for one, there wasn't any common sense about the values. As a sniper who has sniped solely since the release of this game there is actually more screen shake added since 2.0 because of being peppered by pulse rifles constantly in the new meta. It's annoying as hell and didn't happen in the hand cannon meta. The only reason people blame aim assist now is because most likely they are getting quick scoped more often. And the reason behind this is, the chances of getting better snipers in your lobbies would be higher as time progresses and pay walls increase between the player base. Classic 6v6 lobbies compared to current lobbies is a perfect example. You see, naturally the better players would remain playing the game while the noobs who can't stay positive will eventually stop playing and move on. I notice year 2 competition is actually stiffer in more games than it was last year. Especially in skirmish.
