Smallbore doesn't reduce mag size on handcannons???

Hello fellow guardians. I recently got the Iron Banner hand cannon with sweet perks on it. It rolled with "luck in the chamber", "spray and play" and "Smallbore". But there is a little problem. The standard magazine of this weapon contains 10 bullets. With smallbore (more stability and range, reduced mag. size) it's still 10 bullets. Is this a known bug on other handcannons as well? I couldn't find any info about this. I also got feather mag (more reload speed, less magazine size). This one DOES reduce my magazine size from 10>9. But with this perk, the stability and range are bad. 1 less bullet would be nice with luck in the chamber but stranely smallbore doesn't work on this weapon. Anyone else with this problem?   • Smallbore, along with other magazine modifying perks - is based on a percentage. If the mag of the weapon isn't high enough for that percentage to equal 1 bullet, then the mag size isn't changed. Seems to be roughly 10% for autorifles, but without having that exact % of effect available - can't say for sure. Although one thing can be said for sure based on that HC of yours: feather mag has a higher % modifier than smallbore.

    • Is it still like that when you're out and using it on a mission or something? I remember a post from bungie saying the difference in mag size may not show if you're in orbit or the tower.

      • Perks that effect magazine size are not active in noncombat zones such as the tower or orbit. Once you start loading into a combat zone the magazine size should change.

        • There is a glitch with extended mag as well. On some hand cannons it doesn't increase magazine at all. [spoiler]Eyasluna being one of them.[/spoiler]
