I've seen this video before and it's a stupid, pointless video. All they aim to do is appeal to people's emotions. It offers no value to the debate about firearms
people's emotions

no value
Watch out for the Badassotron 9000 here.

Ok not entirely sure how those two quotes equate to "badassatron". I'm slightly confused

Edited by Tartan 118: 11/19/2015 6:43:58 PMYou implied that people's emotions have no effect on gun control issues. Not only is that a clinical, robotic way of looking at it, it's also pretty cringeworthy. 'Emotions don't matter, facts do', or some such embarrassing sentiment.

Decisions should be made on facts, not emotions as well but that's not exactly what I was getting at
-
The way the video appeals to emotions by selling the firearms they say have been involved in nefarious acts is nothing but propaganda.
-
If you want cold, hard numbers, I put some in the OP.

Ah, I see. I don't believe they were there when I originally commented on the subject. The problem with emotions is they cloud judgement.

Was this post an addendum/correction to the one before ?
-
It's more so clarification on my previous point. My original comment was rather vague.
