The Lost to Light mission, and it's secret reward (although not so much a secret anymore lol) has created a natural exploration incentive for fellow guardians across the Taken King story missions. This video is one such instance - people have found a secret in the Paradox Mission on Venus.
Originally a reddit post (click [url=https://www.reddit.com/r/DestinyTheGame/comments/3mpyvc/secret_in_the_paradox_mission/]here[/url] to read the post ), it displays how one can essentially trick the game into unlocking a secret area in the past in the VoG where you fight Taken, and eventually unlock a door and obtain a nice little ghost shell (to give to the FWC) and a grimoire card (Praedyth's Door).
Have we had this mission as a Daily Heroic as of yet?
What other secrets are we missing in these missions? Take today's mission (10/1/15 - Dreadnaught - Story [i]Enemy of My Enemy[/i]) - are there teams out there now searching high and low in this mission to find it's possible secret?

[b]EDIT (10.15.15)[/b]: So the [i]intended[/i] method of acquiring the Cult Ghost was found, as well as the other 3 ghost memories in the VoG. I am convinced that this has something to do with acquiring the [b]No Time To Explain[/b] Exotic Pulse Rifle. Maybe a timed event, maybe something that requires multiplesteps, with the cult ghost being just one of many, who knows.
BUT, we know the Exo Stranger likes to phase inand out of existence, we know the FWC has an obsession with peering into the future, and now we know Praedyth was one of their members.
[b]EDIT (10.21.15)[/b]: As previously expected, the cult ghost was the trigger for the No Time to Explain exotic quest.

3 RepliesEdited by RetroTypes: 10/23/2015 10:45:27 AMIn the Outbound Signal mission, before you enter the final section of the headquarters and kill the yellow bar Colossus (all prior to scanning the computer and spawning the taken boss), you enter a room behind some Cabal fighting Hive. The left is the way to go, so naturally I went straight instead (thanks Final Fantasy lmao) to where the Hive were coming from, which leads to the door where you'd go to fight the Shield Brothers. That door isn't open, nor are the side doors where enemies spawn from, BUT if you walk up to either of the side doors they do in fact open. You cant go in them, of course, since they're spawn locations and are filled with darkness and whatnot, but it's interesting that these open, when normally doors like that only open when things are coming out of them (which nothing does). They close as soon as you walk away, but maybe if you have two people and open both at the same time, something happens? Idk, I did it alone and couldn't test that. Someone go try it! Edit: google'd it, found another person who noticed this. Same situation, though, he couldn't search with a team. He also mentions that there's more of these doors than just those two, and there's always one you can go into. https://www.reddit.com/r/DestinyTheGame/comments/3m71wu/compilation_of_daily_heroic_star_fox_endings/cvd51ao Edit 2: Ran it again for kicks, found two Cabal spawn doors that I could open and go into, and I hadn't even gotten past the "stupid computer" door yet. Not wanting to go activate the next part of the mission without a thorough search of.. the whole Dreadnought.. I backtracked. Everywhere. The Trenchway, the Hull Breach, the Court, the Mausoleum, The Founts, the Asylum (via Warden's Knights, and yes I killed Ecthar for the hell of it lol), and every nook and cranny in between. Only thing that piqued interest was that, outside of the story area, the only other place where I could get spawn doors to open with my ghost was in the Founts, namely the door behind the Wizard in the back area, and the doors behind the Charged Agonarch Rune terminal. But nothing came of those. The only thing I didn't do was any runes in the Court, because I was solo and didn't want to add any more time to the two hours I'd already spent doing nothing. I proceeded to finish the quest, opening every spawn door I could, and finding no more that I could enter. After triple checking the Shield Brothers door, I spawned the taken boss and ran out of the room, where I was met with a "joining allies" message despite being solo. With no other options, I killed the boss (did admittedly die once because I forgot I had my sword equipped from the Ecthar fight), and then checked the Brothers door AGAIN, to no avail. The mission ended before I could explore further. I think this is officially a bust for any exotics/special endings, unless someone wants to try all that shit I did during other phases of the mission (ie. after opening the "stupid computer" door to the command center, after clearing the final room but before scanning the terminal, etc).
